In the year 2154, the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth. A man takes on a mission that could bring equality to the polarized worlds.

@ANTH0NY.VII.
2 жыл бұрын
Yup. The movie shows that the vast inequality could be fixed with a couple lines of code. Aid was immediately dispatched for those in need. The rich could've helped at any time but decided not to. Just like in real life. Wealthy individuals bar poor people (99% of the population) from obtaining the things they need to live. We can see this today, World Hunger is a big issue, funny thing is, we actually over produce food. We could feed every human being on Earth and still have tons of food left over. So why haven't we done this? Simple, the wealthy individuals who own all the food companies would rather let people starve than to cut their profits

It really depends on if the materials were sourced from Earth or out in space, right now it costs about 10 grand per pound to get something into space. If we could mine the asteroid belt then materials wouldn't be an issue. robots would do the actual construction and maintenance. See youtuber issac arthur videos, The hardest part is keeping the station in orbit, technically it's falling around the world until it eventually would enter the atmosphere, they would need some sort of engine to keep it in orbit. Gravity would be achieved through spinning. I would also worry about space junk collisions, a paint chip is basically a bullet in space.

Sharing the healing technology is akin to offering Earth a lifeline, a chance to mend its wounds. But envision Elysium as a celestial garden, a place of untainted beauty and harmony. If all Earth's inhabitants swarm to this haven, Elysium risks descending into chaos, transforming into a reflection of Earth's overburdened, tumultuous landscape. Border policies, then, are the vital threads of a finely woven tapestry, ensuring that Elysium's delicate balance remains intact. Allowing unfiltered migration is like unleashing a torrential flood upon a serene valley; it overwhelms, erodes, and reshapes the land into an indistinguishable mire. Thus, safeguarding Elysium's essence demands vigilant boundaries, preserving its sanctity from the overwhelming tide.

With elysium being destroyed by religious wars and overpopulation
Universal Healthcare: The Movie
1:12 Wut?
Idk if ive gotten jaded over the tears, used to see this ending as amazing and perfect, but wouldnt that lind of technology expand the human life to the point of overpopulation? Especially if everyone is reproducing the same, the world in this movie is already overcrowded, now none will die unless killed by violence. It kinda scares me. And what if power that immense corrupts Spider? Instead of the poor, its the ruthless and violent who run the earth Idk, but i keep thinking about it
