Фильм және анимация

This film is based on the manga "All you need is kill". And manga is much more... Darker tbh. And I like both.

One thing a lot of folks talk about is how the suits make you walk like you're a toddler, but that's only because none of them are using them to their full potential. We see later in the movie, with both Rita and Tom's character, how they practically fly around the battlefield, because they're familiar enough with the suits to know how to use them to their fullest extent.

Rita died and came back so many times she learned to use the armor to its fullest. Everyone else interpreted that as "the armor is such a powerful weapon you can use it with nearly no training".

big fact that in the beginning of the film we see every one move soldier and later on the movie we see how badass the suit are once you get comfortable with them and the movie did explain that alot these soldier was rush out the battlefield and din't have to time to study the suit cause the alien was attack, they was just to teach how to move and shot that it

I think all the veterans are already dead. The quiet guy, Ford and Rita Vrataski appear to be some of the few remaining veterans. Farrell was pumping out some patriotic bs about bravery and courage, Skinner was too hyped up and sounded like he was excited for his first battle, Kimmel literally wore no clothes into combat and Griff just wanted to get laid - they’re all green.

It was implied, that the suits went into mass production BECAUSE Rita showed that it was possible to use them effectively. Unfortunately, Rita had a cheat, and all the other soldiers had not.

In order to stop the resets they had to kill all the backup mimics. But since cage killed the backup mimic in his first loop that's how he became a backup and that applies to Rita too when she got her reset powers. And the manga had this wholesome moment of cage and Rita spending time together before revealing that one of them has to die to stop the resets because both of them are backups. And in the end they're forced to kill each other.

Interesting fact (SPOILER): In the end of the movie, when the day started again, while all the mimics got disabled, Cage comes to Rita again into the training area, he sheds a tear of happiness since he makes sure: he succeeded in making her survive, and a cool positive song “Can you love me again” starts playing! BUT, quite frankly, I was sad at this moment and here’s why... She won’t have any memory of their past days, but Cage definitely wants to maintain those relationships: he loves her. She seem to be loving him, too, and she kissed him near Omega, but she lost those memories, and this gotta be quite weird uncomfortable relationships without those memories. So this “can you love me again” song is absolutely relatable: she loved him once, but will Rita able to love him again, when nobody’s needed to save the world? I can barely believe that she can love him during peaceful time...

I love how many details this pointed to being a conscript army (or they haven't even pass basic training) - Everyone moves and fight like a bunch of toddlers while Rita can run and maneuver - 2:27 explicitly said that they won't help you, this is not how army units operate, they always back each other. - Cage himself never received training in any of the hardware or tactics before being sent to battle - Almost no one act as a unit, absolutely no discipline. For a manga adaptation, this movie is absolutely wonderful.

madness1383 This is the UDF’s last desperate offensive against the Mimics, so they need bodies. They also underestimated the amount of training required to properly use the suits, since Rita (because she had the power to reset the day in Verdun.) had time to figure out how her suit worked through the resets. The UDF naturally didn’t know this and just thought “Hey, If Rita Vrataski can use this suit to kill hundreds of mimics on her first day, we can just mass produce them and give them to troops with minimal training!” Naturally, that wasn’t the case.

Well from what I just saw of it, its a total cluster F movie that has no basis in any real war type environment. First, the character TC played was totally unprepared for what he got into. In real life no one goes into combat that F-ed up. How to activate the safety? OMFG, are you kidding me? lame attempt at drama. Looks like I didn't miss much by never seeing this movie.

Do people realize this is like a futuristic version of what actually happened in WW2? They lost France and Germany they said in the beginning. They dropped in a beach where they were already getting fired on. This is a lot like D-Day and let's honor those soldiers who gave up their life on that one day. Since it's June right now it's the same month d day occurred. Never forget
