Elvis, no other man has what he did. His manliness his charisma, his voice, his looks . . . I can’t explain . . Don’t feel sad about anybody else not being here anymore, like I do about him, I feel there was something about him that he should still be here . . I’m atheist but He is like a God to me. Watching & listening to him stirs all kinds of emotions in me.

I'm so grateful I found Elvis. I'm 26 yo, but never felt so much love and admiration for another artist like I feel for him. My life was never the same.

He was a funny, sweet, genuine man i walk past Graceland everyday without fail. I will love and miss my friend forever. I always called him E. he got a kick out of it.. i have lived on EP Blvd. Since the early 70's

@@p.j.morris633 I LOVE this man. I STILL cry when I see footage of his funeral and him flying off in the Lisa Marie, like he's flying off to heaven. I'm not saying he was a perfect person, he did his share of bad stuff but his soul outshines any bad he could have ever done in his incarnate life. I hope to see him in heaven after I greet God, then Jesus then my mom and dad. I was 8 when he died on my moms birthday and sadly a piece of my heart died with him. You are a very fortunate person to have had an opportunity to meet him. You LUCKY @P.J.Morris I'm sure you have a memory that you will NEVER forget!!

Ronnie Tutt his drummer said playing drums for Elvis was like doing it for a stripper. Cause Elvis constantly wanted a drum sound fir his moves. Ronnie caught that jibe the first tine he met and tried out with Elvis. Elvis loved it.

He didn’t write a song but his sheer raw performing talent, his phrasing of a song and ability to make a song absolutely his were all so extraordinary that someone like Chuck Berry - who was a legend and who wrote all of his own songs - still said that Elvis was ‘the best and the best there ever will be He became one of the most significant pop culture icons of the 20th century before passing away at the young age of 42. To this day, he remains the best-selling solo artist of all time, racking up an estimated 600 million to one billion in album sales. Only singer in music Hall of Fame rock, blues, Gospel, Country. Atlantic records president Jerry Wexler actually said those words about Elvis, he lost bid with RCA to get Elvis ‘ contract from Sun !

While we are crying for him he is now singing for the Angels in Heaven. Lucky guy.
