Baz luhrmann talked about rehearsing this scene for the upcomming movie, so he probably thought the same thing

Everyone woman wanted to be with Elvis and every man wanted to be Elvis!

Something so funny to me about him effortlessly (and flawlessly) belting out one of his best songs while constantly pausing to give the women lined up a kiss. Also props to his accompaniment for keeping the music going as he was making his rounds through the crowd and for a seamless transition back as he got back on stage. Absolutely brilliant.

Holy shit that is a handsome guy. Woman wanted him & men respected him. Elvis is the best and always will be.

I like how he kept the necklace the girl near the beginning gave him (the one he asked "are you afraid of me"?) and even held it up to show her while he was walking through the audience, and still had it in his hand when he got back on stage. I know that girl was feeling special.

This man is absolutely irreplaceable 🤍

Siberian Orchestra set up at table in the hallway after all their shows to sign autographs and meet & greet their fans. Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham did the same after his show here in February. I'll admit they're not Elvis...

As much as I liked Elvis, I think you have greatly overestimated him in many respects. I think he'd even tell you that. He was very talented, but he was not the greatest singer of all time, and certainly not an actor.

There is a very special young man today singing and gaining worldwide fans he calls "Dears". He can't replace Elvis but he does reflect the same kind of heart. Dimash Kudaibergen is from Kazakhstan and at 27 years old everyone is amazed by him. As he is an incredible singer there is only one Elvis and no one can replace him!👍😃🎶

I never really cared for Elvis's music when i was young , but as a older man i recognize he had a wonderful voice and some of his performances are epic. I love u-tube.
