Fun Fact: Elvis Presley was known as the sexiest man alive in his generation he was known as the King of Rock and Roll and he was the first person ever to have a major audience When Elvis Said 'Aloha' From Hawaii, The World Watched On January 14, 1973, Elvis Presley made history as the first solo entertainer to hold a live concert broadcast internationally via satellite

I was said that ' Girls want to be with him and guys want to be like him '....Heck, I even read where some guys want to be with him as well..lol...Elvis was truly the epitome of the ' rags to riches ' story. His entire life was so compelling. In my opinion, if a song that truly signifies Elvis's life, it's ' Fame and Fortune '...On a side note, and out of all of the songs Elvis ever sang or recorded, ' Fame and Fortune ' was Elvis dad's favorite song...Cheers..

Elvis literally started everything. Where do you think strippers got the pole dancing from? This! Michael Jackson got a lot of his moves and influence from Elvis. They even met in 1974 when MJ attended his concert. He even hired some of Elvis' associates. Elvis is called the king for a reason. Over a billion records sold worldwide! Only artist to ever do that.👑 Elvis also huge on the black music scene. 35 top RnB hits. Most ever by a non black artist. Check out In The Ghetto, If I Can Dream ( tribute about MLK), Polk Salad Annie and Suspicious Minds all by Elvis.

The reason Elvis had smooth moves was because he was inspired by blues, gospel and rhythm-and-blues, including the Memphis radio shows hosted by such local disc jockeys as B.B. King and Rufus Thomas, both of whom also sang live during their broadcasts. He was my Mom's fav, they were both born in 1935. Stay solid Chris & Rheasia and thanks!

Ahh hmm 🤔 Now do you know the person that is credited as one of the very first to combine the styles of Gospel, Jazz and Blues (which is the sound Elvis is known for!)? This person was born in 1915 and started touring, playing the guitar and singing at only the age of 6 yrs old, being called a musical prodigy. Touring mainly playing Gospels all across the US before settling in Chicago and recording what is considered to be possibly the first Rock n Roll song because before this, there isn’t anything that was ACTUALLY RECORDED by “manhandling” a guitar in that style. This person toured the world with this blues, jazzy gospel sound adding riffs and “Manhandling” an instrument in such unacceptable manner 😂Making anyone who heard it get up w/cheers of joy and whistles sounding throughout the club. I’m honored to simply sit and absorb the incredible talent and creativity! Respect. Period. ❤❤❤

I am 64 and this was made in 1957, the year I was born. There will never be another because he was the FIRST! THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL was the first ever to do any kind of music or movements like no one else. He was unique, beautiful, so talented, charismatic, generous to a fault.. PERFECT! I CAN SAY ALL OF THIS BECAUSE I WAS THERE. NO ONE WILL EVER BE ABLE TO RECAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF ELVIS PRESLEY! He had something that was GOD given, that can't be repeated. He WAS LITERALLY MUSIC THAT CAME TO LIFE! YOU MUST GO DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE CALLED ELVIS PRESLEY! He made more than 900 records and 31 movies! If you don't learn about his life, carrer, and his personal life the you will be missing out on the one and only KING OF ROCK AND ROLL!!!

The way Elvis dances on stage is very charismatic and flamboyant at that time almost compared to James Brown, if you look up “Hound dog” the hip movements he did blow women away completely so smooth he was. You can also see it in a scene clip from the movie Forrest Gump where Forrest’s mother tells him this is not for children’s eyes. Very fun and great music from the King of Rock. 🕺🏼🎤🎵

In an interview once, he was asked about his "moves". He said when they started out, he went backstage and someone told him to get back out there and do what he'd been doing. He asked, "what have I been doing". They said moving your arms and legs all around. He said to the interviewer, "and I've been doing it ever since"! So, I think his "moves" weren't dance steps; just the way the music moved him. He told someone once that if he couldn't move, he couldn't sing. A minister from his childhood said he was a ball of energy set to music. 🎶

There is a reason Elvis was able to move and dance like that - he had hypermobility - according to VERY good sources, and I have had my physical therapists confirm most dancers cannot move in these very amazing ways with normal mobility range. They have to have hypermobility. This condition also comes with chronic pain in joints and the body, and when he died it was on a full cocktail of meds as he complained of sever epain so much. And by the time he died he didnt move or dance like he did here. A book about his medical conditions has recently been released, and I see many very talented dancers on youtube - who are clearly hypermobile. I am also hyper mobile, and I have friends who LOVE to dance and they cannot, no matter the years they have tried, be able to do the moves i can. But if i could swap the dance ability for no pain - I would any day! Its one of the reasons ballet is such a disciplined dance form because you HAVE to be able to do it without injuring your body. Many of these dancers DO injure themselves because of their hypermobility.

When people first heard Elvis, they thought he was black because at the time this style of music was mainly in the African-American communities or sung by them. Rock started in the black communities. Interesting how later it changed. Also, how he danced was considered too sexual at the time, so on TV they would only air it waist up.

If you're gonna start reacting to Elvis start from his hits in the 50s and work your way up to the 70s. That way you will see him grow and evolve. People who do it the other way around are always confused! 😀

You’re also both absolutely beautiful inside and out babe. Absolutely gorgeous.

Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my entire life. we met when i was 17 yrs old. I won a radio show contest and the prize was a day with Elvis but our friendship lasted past that one day in time. All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. i saw him a few weeks before he passed we had a short conversation which i will never share again because people are so nasty and comment hurtful heart breaking things they do not know me but they still can't keep their mouths closed about things they know nothing about. I walk past Graceland everyday. Great reaction loved it. love from Memphis Tn.

The man that discovered Elvis was searching for a white boy that could sing and dance like a black boy. He found one. YOU MUST review Tom Jones, the British Elvis. Check out his moves on "Treat Her Right." Women threw their undies to him to wipe his sweaty face. Talk about smooth. Haha!

Elvis grew up in a poor mixed neighborhood and spent most of his spare time in Black churches listening to the music. He was invited to join the choir and basically learned to sing there. He always had a great love of gospel. His hip moves were considered so suggestive that for years on television they would on show him on camera below the waste.

Elvis lived in poor neighborhood in Tupelo, Miss. He hung out with black kids, wore their clothes, sang in black church gospel choir...he really loved black folks. Gave generously to poor later on!!❤❤❤❤
