In the 20´s Bessie Smith recorded the hit "Jailhouse Blues". The blues had a baby and they named it baby "rock and roll".

the color version of this movie was colorized by turner as in Ted Turner . as for me I think they did a great job. But b&w or color no one or nothing can improve on Elvis's looks. man o man what a man.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This song has been favorite since way back and I appreciate that you present it in color for us. "For The Heart" it is good at this time. Still wondering about marco31768, Sister Tee

Hey Rob, thanks for posting this great clip. I was never a fan of colorization until I saw this clip from JR. Seems to add an extra dimension. On my channel, I perform "Treat Me Nice" from the movie in my own style. Have a laugh on me and stop by. Super channel! Keep up the good work for The King! Thanks. - Jersey Guy @ CBSEye, Elvis Song Sylist (Not anETA)

no luck with ebay... searched "Jailhouse Rock" and specified DVD... it gave me 60 results and none of them was for a color version of the movie... it only turned up the two DVDs i'm aware of, which as far as i know only present it in B&W...

Did they really cut his hair in this movie? Cuz there was a scene in the movie where they were shaving off his hair to army cut because he was going to be imprisoned. But how did he grow back his hair in his next picture King Creole?

I hesitate to comment because you may remove me for commenting too much, like somebody told me marco31768 did, because he gave me no other reason. Our correspondence was always kind, pleasant, respectful, so why folks did an Elvis Presley admirer do such a thing? Still "Hurt," Sister Tee
