This man was is and always be the best ever incredible.

I like Gordon Lightfoot singing this song, but... Elvis can sing it and totally own it. His version is less "choppy" and smooth overall. I've grown to love Elvis through the ages, as well as Gordon Lightfoot. Thanks for this video. I love it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@terryyoung37 Hopefully nobody but you will read this. However, broke my heart that the man (has the right "handle" for certain)....came out in such a way on that song about one pair of hands. Perhaps I should not have commented with actual facts about Elvis performing and recording hundreds of songs that were never (probably for monetary or legal reasons) not added to published albums. The commenter even "yelled" at someone who said they had sung it in a church not long ago. I do not understand why someone would act in this way....but then...at my age...am finding it more and more difficult to understand the world of today. Anyway...thank you so much for that song. Even tho no longer on your "playlist", I had saved it. So...I do have it. My opinion....it really, really sounds like Elvis....and the best version have heard of that song....and love the song and lyrics....we should be able to have the freedom to listen to what we want. Sorry if my comment caused that unwarranted spew of comments.

Its not a worry at all @Anne Amato I think some people think I get paid for creating my videos, as I stated on so many occasions I do it well because I can.Although they take hours to create and sync the lyrics, I enjoy creating them especially when I get warm comments. You are right about one thing it is a difficult world we live in. If you make any errors I'm sure there are alot of people that know better and offer there guidance just as in the case of the video I have removed. I will not let anything dampen my spirits although I must admit mid last year I lost my dad and thought deep and hard if I was going to carry on with the channel, I am happy to say I am glad I carried on as my dad never gave in and always soldiered on I will be doing my most treasured song Just Pretend By Elvis Presley this has thought triggers for myself and I'm sure for for people all over the world it is a song that reminds me of my dad ( Just pretend I didn't go When I walked away, I heard you say If you need me, you know what to do I knew it then, I'd be back again Just pretend I'm right there with you I'm glad you saved the video I removed and hope you enjoy my next upload as much as I will creating it again :)

@terryyoung37 Thank you for responding. I appreciate your work, the music, and your channel so much! It is sad though that you will never know the number of views that song will be getting...and I still find it puzzling why that person reacted in such a way. But over here....things have sadly devolved into longtime friends no longer speaking, family members against each other....all due to political views....but also due to societal issues...as well as religious beliefs. I wondered if that person's true reason for attacking that video was because it had religious lyrics. Have seen that in many different videos and internet comments of late. And the censorship is getting much worse here....whether political...or religious commentary. I am so sorry about the loss of your father. But...trust me on this....you may not be aware of it, but he really IS with you. And yes....as Josh Groban sang...."Don't Give Up" .... "it's just the weight of the world...when your heart's heavy, I...I will lift it for you".....etc. So...yes...your father would want you to carry on....you are doing so much...for so many of us. Thank you! ❤️

Could not agree more brilliantly sung by Elvis

The songwriter Gordon Lightfoot sang "In the early morning' rain" better than Elvis. Elvis has better body performance, though.

Agree,and like the Elvis version too. More than a few songs where I like two or more ways of singing it.
