So what can one say about Elvis? Many loved him, many were jealous of him, many wanted to be him, many just wanted to be around him. Elvis brought joy to thousands either through his generosity or his songs, he was a light to this world we will never see again. Meeting Elvis in Palm Desert as a boy on my bicycle in front of Market Basket in his Cadillac Diamond plate pickup Truck was my memory of him.
I grew up on Elvis. My mother is a huge fan. I remember exactly where I was when I heard the news on the radio. Coming back to my aunt's with all my cousins in the car from a day at Carowinds amusement park. We were all shocked and crying. Elvis' gospel albums are the absolute best. What a voice
This was a blast and how respectful and loving the community of Tupelo is in keeping Elvis's memory alive and well. Thank you so much for sharing this Jordan. It is appreciated. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
Elvis really had a beautiful life. Despite the struggles and hardships, just amazing life. Filled with family and love. Although he died at a young age, his death at Graceland.....Probably where he would have wanted to pass. Great video!
Thanks so much for this Great video I Love Elvis and Enjoyed this Great video...God bless you..🙏❤👍💞
Thank you so much Jordan for this amazing video. It has been such a joy to go along for the ride. You are touching so many with your passionate experiences, both of Elvis and you personally . God bless you and your travels.
I love seeing birthplaces, especially a house. It’s amazing to me how people back then were able to live in such small places with few possessions, just enough to eat, sit and sleep basically. I don’t know if it was the perspective through the camera compared to in person but I thought their bedroom was a decent size for back then. I wonder why Elvis didn’t go in it but just looked underneath it. Thanks so much for this blog! I smiled through the whole thing! Keep on being you!! 🦴🐾❤️
Jordan, I definitely will go to see Elvis's birthplace in Tupelo, next year after Elvis Week if I have time. Thank you for sharing a wonderful piece of Elvis History!
As John Lennon once said "Before Elvis there was nothing!" God bless the King of Rock ' Roll ! Your vlogs of Elvis week are brilliant Jordan! It must be mind blowing for you as you are such a Fan of his and we all love it too...Hi Paw to Jah!...
Been to Tupelo a few times and loved the place. Its well worth a visit. Coming from the UK we still can't make it to the USA until Airplanes can fly again because of covid. Maybe next year who knows. Thanks for the video really enjoyed you going around the different places at Elvis week. 👍
That Elvis bus is awesome. Who wouldn't want one of those to ride around in? So much Elvis history everywhere. Thank you Jordan for finding it and sharing it with us all. Stay safe and take care.
Thanks for taking us on your Elvis journey! So missed and taken from us too soon!
We didn't make it to Tupelo when we traveled to Memphis in 2017. Thank you for this Jordan. Very humble beginnings is one of the reasons (I believe) that Elvis was so generous with those who were in need. VERY COOL!
Cool vlog Jordan! Thank for showing Elvis's birthplace and the statues are amazing to look at!
Thank you Jordan. It's all so beautiful! I use to drive through Tupelo and want to stop and see Elvis's birthplace and never got the chance. This vlog is really a treat for me.
I saw your other Tupelo video, Jordan, and it's one of my favorites! So getting to see you do it all again with extra stuff thrown in made my day! I always like to see the goodies you buy (hardware store)! I could spend all day in Tupelo looking at all of the Elvis stuff, including that 3-D wall of Elvis holding his cape. It must be great to find things like that. Thanks for another great Elvis video. I loved it!
I like your shirt Jordan. WOOO Elvis is definitely a Legend it is amazing how one person can make such an impact. Thank you Elvis
Absolutely loving your Elvis week adventures!

This was an awesome video Jordan, thank you for taking us on the tour of where Elvis was born, you are right it was a very small place but his father is the one that built it so that was a good size place at that time. The statues are so great of Elvis. It's so great to see that the town really does honor Elvis they way that they do
There will never be another Elvis... thanks for the video Jordan!
Didn’t get a notification this time. My home state of Mississippi. They’ve done a great job with Elvis’ homestead and property. Nice Walk of Life. All those statues are amazing. Long time ago hardware stores would sell non hardware stuff. My grandfather had a hardware store and it seems like he sold some furniture also. I’m sure Elvis’ mom was a great cook. There’s something special about your first home church. Good to know where to stop in Tupelo for good food. Thank you, Jordan for doing all of this recording of Elvis week so we could enjoy it with you. Much appreciated. God bless y’all

Hi Jordan, how thoughtful, a free Elvis Day and a free button. Boy, the Presley's had it tough in the early years. Bless her, that poor tour guide having problems with her mask, that would drive me crazy, but it did make me chuckle. Such a humble beginning, oh well, as the old saying goes 'from little acorns, mighty oaks grow'. Great vlog Jordan.
Hey Jordan. Just watched the Tupelo video here. I know the person that did the painting that is in the Tupelo hardware store. He is a huge Elvis fan and made a song after Elvis died. You should do a vlog with him sometime. Let me know if your interested!! He’s a heck of a nice guy.
Jordan met you in Memphis at Spa Guys went to Kiss show tonight and was in line to go in. They canceled show Paul has Covid. Hope you get to see your show. Take care great job on Elvis Week

This is very cool.Fascinating history on Elvis
Man I need to go back there soon. Last time I went it was over 20 years ago. I don’t remember half these things. Sending love from the UK
One place no youtubers have covered is the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport Louisiana where he performed at the Louisiana Hayride. The Municipal is also where the saying Elvis has left the building come from and James Burton records is right across the street. In front of the Municipal has a statue of Elvis Presley and James Burton.
From all the stories I've heard about Elvis ...he may have been poor money wise when he was growing up, but he was rich in other ways. Elvis was so blessed to have parents that taught him to have manners and to have respect for others. He cared about other people's feelings. He grew up being a Christian and to me that's being rich. Some children today don't even know the meaning of having manners. God sure did bless him with a beautiful talent and he was beautiful inside and out. Even though he had money later on in his life he didn't forget where he came from. I love how he was so generous with his money. I would have been the same way if I was him. He's still giving to this day. He has brought so many people together. Elvis, we'll never forget you and we'll always love you. 🥰 😘❤
Thank you Jordan :)
Hi to be a great time with my family 👪
Glad you got to visit near where I am. I live just 25 minutes away, I have been to the birthplace house, but never been inside main museum and event center. So I am doing the same thing as I did when I was in CA for decades, I'd say "I'll get to it soon", but didn't . "Regrets... I had a few". :-)
I luv Elvis. As far as outhouses, my mom grew up in Central Mississippi. She did grew up with outhouses and chamber's. It wasn't until much later that my grandparents would get indoor plumbing.

Thank you for wonderful video! It is really interesting and motivating! Cannot wait when all of us start travel again! Thank you for helping to promote tourism! wow
If you watch Memphis mafia kid videos billy smith elvis’s cousin says veron was afraid of people trying to get to the grave so he more or less is somewhere else but billy said that’s all he was gonna say about that

Thanks for this video!
Bought me an Elvis guitar for some child that is deserving. Worth the investment.
Jordan Awesome vlog glad to see home& church were saved & i i truly love the "Becoming" statues i know they had the stairs to see them but was there a path for wheelchair/mobility chair ?
We love you Elvis.
Jesse's grave is in Priceville cemetery in Tupelo. I know that as my parents are buried there. My father knew Vernon Presley as a kid. Vernon and my dad's eldest brother were the same age and were friends. Jesse's grave, like my great grandmother who died in 1922, they were too poor to buy a marker and now no one knows which is their plot. I'm glad we got markers for my parents and grandparents and uncle. In that same graveyard there is a whole family that died in a tornado in the 1930's.

Those Shelton's were my grandmother's sister's family. Her married name was Shelton.
Elvis didnt need to learn to sing he already knew how 😮😅❤. I wonder if Lisa Marie ever visited this place.
The Family can request an Honor Guard and Military Honors. "If requested, the DOD is obligated to provide an honor guard comprised of at least two military members to conduct funeral honors for eligible veterans. At the very minimum, the honor company is required to perform a ceremony including the folding and presenting of the American flag to the next of kin and the playing of taps." I do know it can take days for the request to go through and they maybe didn't want to wait? Or they didn't ask?
Great vlog it was cool to see the place his mother bought him the his first Guitar
This is a place i did not no about thank you Jordan.
Very interesting video thank you
I realize this is an "old" video but as a person who's family member had a military funeral...I'm guessing Elvis' dad didn't think of it or want it. Just because you're in the military it doesn't mean you automatically get a military funeral, you have to alert the "powers that be" that a veteran has passed. A veteran can be buried anywhere, they just get a free burial plot in a veteran cemetery (i.e. adjacent to Otis Air Base on the Cape in MA) if they want to use it.
in 1957 he wasnt worried about fans seeing it, he wanted his family to own it again as his father built it.
we had an old outhouse we used when i was a kid,and my dad was rebuilding the house Love your turquoise ring where did you find it
Those statues are beautiful
