In this video I have collected some of the greatest pictures from Elvis' career in the U.S. Army. Elvis was drafted into the army in on December 20, 1957, while spending the Christmas holidays at Graceland, his newly purchased Tennessee mansion, rock-and-roll star Elvis Presley receives his draft notice for the United States Army.
Elvis returned home from the army after spending 2 years there, in 1960, continuing making movies including G.I. Blues (1960)
