Ever since 1979, I've been listening to Elvis Costello just a sixteen year old punk rocker with short hair and beautiful girl friends I'm sixty now and some of those friends are still around

Few months ago I came across Elvis Costello music and now I am addicted. I looooove his voice and the lyrics of his songs are thought provoking, heart breaking and engaging. Elvis Costello is the most interesting singer in my hearing experience. I am Brazilian amd he reminds me of Brazilian musicians who care for their voice their performance and only sings songs that are over the top stunning! Can you sugest me your favorite Elvis Costelo songs or CD's and live shows please? I only know the Burt Bachara album. Thank you Britain for raising the finest!

Is this a comedy skit?… I remember him when MTV first started and he had those Cell, Jesse Raphael glasses and the leather jacket like Fonzie….lol I never understood what his angle was like what it was trying to prove or what he was doing WTF

ALL performances are "affected". They are all artificial constructs. That's why it's called "Art", as in ARTificial.
