I was an Elvis fan since I was five years old. When he passed at the age of 42, I wasn't the slightest, least bit surprised ( I was 22 at the time) based on what I had been reading about him in 1977 from the National Enquirer. As they said, " He was caught in a trap."

Its amazing he only lived to 42. He will always be forever young no matter what video footage is shown. Sad but amazing all at once. Only 42 years and impacted the world for a lifetime. Imagine if he lived until an old man. Ugh.

It always gets me when I think of Elvis all the fanfare and songs he sang. HOW MANY STARS DO YOU SEE THST STOP RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SHOW TO SING OR HAVE THEIR QUARTET SING GOSPEL? I’d say none! He always had at least one gospel song in each show. Even in Vegas!
