Very nice lady thank you very much 😀 👍 Yes the young Elvis would be the 50s rock 'n' roll days, The 60s he made about 32 films. 1967 he got married they had a baby Lisa Marie. The TV special was around about then. And then we had the 70s Vegas years,

Love you shirt! You’ll love this because you can’t sit still in this one! Hahaha! Check out the tv shows from Milton Berl (spelled it wrong) and Ed Sullivan shows! That is when the whirlwind started! Have a great day! The Dorsey Brothers show was his first appearance on tv! He was so beautiful and lively different then anyone had seen till then! Elvis is a journey for sure!

Here he is 22 but the performance of Hound Dog on the Milton Berle show is what got him banned from tv lol the stripper moves at the end didn’t go over well in that era after that they would only film him from the waist up. Both his drummers DJ Fontana and Ronnie Tutt said in interviews that it was like drumming for a stripper haha. The 68 Comeback was after he had been out for a few years making movies he was 33 at that time and that when he sang If I Can Dream dedicated to MLK and Robert Kennedy who were assassinated that year. Then in 1969 he did his first Las Vegas show and started touring again until he died in 77 at 42. His last shows was June of 1977 I believe and he was ill you can tell but the audience was still memorized by him and he sang his heart out. Elvis never lost his voice I thought he was as handsome in 77 as he was at anytime. I will never forget the day he died never I was only 11 but that day is burned in my memory forever. I don’t think anyone who lived through that day will forget the day he died.

To think that was 1957 Elvis was way ahead of his time this is from his 3rd film Jailhouse rock he was 22 he appeared on the Milton Berle show in 1956 and sang Hound dog that was the show that started off those opinions of ignorant people back then I loved it when they asked him about all the backlash he was getting and was he sorry he said no because he didn't that he'd done anything wrong which was so true thank you safe 😷👍

Cinnamon.... In the live chat & the video itself, you questioned his age .... He was just 22 at the time (born in 1935 & tragically died at the age of 42 in 1977 ✊️😔). His spirit will live on in the hearts, minds & souls of his fans worldwide ☝️👑

Yup this is teenage 1950s Elvis. Black leather Elvis was 1960s Elvis. White jumpsuit Elvis was late 60s/early 70s Elvis.

He did his own choreography in that clip from the movie Jailhouse Rock in 1957. The song reached #1 on all three main charts, the pop, R&B and Country. Only artist to ever do that.

Cinnamon... Jailhouse Rock was Elvis’ 3rd movie (in chronological order), behind “Love Me Tender” (made in 1956), “Loving You” (1957) & then “Jailhouse Rock” (1957). Elvis plays a young man named Vince Everett, who is sent to prison after accidentally killing a man in a brawl & his life changes when he learns to play guitar while in prison.

This is actually a pretty sad (but important) song when you have the context. This is from the movie Jailhouse Rock. This scene is a music video he made in the movie, so that people would see convicts and ex-convicts as human beings. It was a 'fun' song just to make it easy for other folks to swallow that bitter reality. In the movie, he beat up a guy who was abusing a woman at a bar, he got thrown in jail for 6 months, jail turned him into a cruel person (he was sweet when he first got to jail), and then a life-changing event makes him a good person again. He definitely didn't rock out during the part where he was actually in jail. He was miserable during that part.

Hey Cinnamon, great reaction👍 This was from the movie Jailhouse Rock in 1957. The documentary was referring to young 21 yr old Elvis and his controversial appearances on TV in1956. Elvis in the black leather suit was from 1968. The white jumpsuit and Suspicious Minds was in Vegas in 1970 and Elvis in Hawaii was in 1973.
