That’s a strong and faithful universal opinion. He’s 1 of the all time greatest on earth without a single doubt in the minds, hearts and souls of people and a.i. for a lifetime. 1 of my all time personal favorites is candle in the wind. My smoking cheers to the legendary Elton John!

Lucky enough to be VIP at the Glasgow gig the week before Glastonbury. Great gig, great memories and the Glastonbury set was phenomenal and perfectly pulled off. They say one should go out on a high……….Sir Elton definitely did.

Absolutely not. As well intentioned as I’m sure the OP’s comment is, we need to ease-up and give the guy a break from love shows now - that tour was a monumental stretch by anyone’s standards, let alone Elton’s age. By the last few shows you could tell it was starting to take its toll on him physically. He’s has his flowers now, the very least we can do is afford him some respect to allow him the space and time to enjoy them with his family now. Gods only know he’s earned it!

IMHO, Gabriel is def more 🌟 talented than ‘cute’. ESP when he covered ‘Bennie and the Jets’ at the Elton John Gershwin Prize Tribute Show! I thought Elton’s reaction said it all - he was standing up and actually shaking with excitement and enthusiasm! A 👏👏 performance - as were the others who paid tribute with their interpretations!

I wouldn’t say it’s an awful song, but rather a ‘famous’ one that has been around for years and almost all people know - regardless of their age. I admit it’s NOT one of my personal favorites either!
