My favorite Musk tweet to someone ranting at him over what would happen if he got Twitter. Musk: "Stop hitting on me. I'm very shy." That would have disarmed 99% of people by making them laugh. But not the activist. No sense of humor allowed any more.

Perhaps it’s time to start taxing charitable foundations which engage in public policy-related activities. That could easily devolve into a mess, but the alternative could be that we increasingly have to live under the cracked worldview of out-of-touch billionaires like Bill "Backstabber" Gates.

I was thinking more of a "Bond Villian" Law. If you acquire wealth and start trying to act like a villian from a 007 Movie. You get taken to the middle of the Pacific and walk the plank. There are alot of good 501c's that fight for our Constitutional Rights to be protected... that's public policy.

Wow, I knew Gates was a nasty person from the days when the government had to step in and stop come of Microsoft's business practices (basically forcing PC manufacturers into loading Windows exclusively on their new PCs and trying to force users to use Explorer as a web browser when there were better products available), but I had no idea of how malicious Gates could be. Makes me feel sorry about making a living for a while developing software for Microsoft Windows.
