For UPS, Fedex, and the USPS; could the car be programmed with all of the delivery and pick up sites and produce a navigated route?

could the route be determined at the depot and communicated to the next truck? A driver would still be needed for delivery/p/u. Deliveries that could not be done for the day due to bad roads, accidents, etc. could be communicated back to the depot upon return.

route determination should be done using traffic patterns, road closures.

Wouldn't need to pre programs, but it would be done. Using Optimus to then walk to drop off products is another growth spurt

There are a lot of steps to take in starting a "cab" company. how will people pay, prepay probably! What if someone comes along and sits in the cab...just sits there? will the charge be only by the mile? Or also time? a traffic jam could cause a lot of time; as could an accident. No driver means leaving the scene of an accident? especially important when you consider the video that the cab will have. a drunk hailing a ride gets home but passes out in the cab...will the cab lock him in and charge for the time? or charge him for motel stay? Using the tesla app to call a cab may be too difficult for a drunk to use. If a cab rider damages the cab, will the rider be charged for $ thousands and taken to a police station? A bank robber uses a tesla cab for his getaway. The way to stop the cab is to just get in front of it.

for each location that Tesla starts using robotaxis; they will need charging locations for the cabs. these chargers will have to be limited to only the company. Some of these cabs will have to be designated for specific locations; airports, railroad stations, bus stations, coliseums, malls. This will anger the human driven cabbies and sabotage may occur.

You have just pointed out at the videos end what legacy mfg. and others will do to produce EV trucks, vans, box trucks, buses, etc. that Tesla hasn't yet started. I predict that once those companies get started, Tesla won't be able to directly compete, but will be able to sell FSD and associated electronics and updates to those mfg.

Take Rivian's sales of delivery vans to Amazon; With FSD the vans will be safer, the insurance costs should be less, updates easier. why wouldn't Rivian want to buy the "Franchise"???
