We are truly blessed. We live on beautiful planet that has so much to offer, in a world of mostly good (ok - medium good) people and we get to witness and benefit from the huge progress humankind has made. Mistakes, we've made a few (too many) but here's to learning from them, growing and getting better. I'm 64 and the progress I've seen in my lifetime has been awesome. For my adult kids I think the future will be even more awesome. You two guys are special - thank you for these podcasts/vlogs.

Trust people to do the thing they do. Trusting people to do the things they do can be a positive approach, as it demonstrates faith in their abilities and fosters a sense of autonomy. Trusting individuals to carry out their responsibilities can lead to increased motivation, productivity, and a sense of ownership over their work. However, it's important to strike a balance by providing guidance, support, and clear expectations to ensure that tasks are completed effectively and efficiently. Trusting people doesn't mean relinquishing control entirely, but rather empowering them to excel in their roles while maintaining open lines of communication and offering assistance when needed.

With great power, comes great responsibility. When one decides we are doing things for others and not ourselves , it makes it easier . The eyes of children explain why we do what we are meant to do. To paint a better picture than we saw, to leave more curiosity to explore and wonder than we had . To bring more joy than was before, and ensure more comes after. We build legacies of better tomorrows. For all not just oneself. For a laugh , for life , for wonder , …for love, always. It’s the choice. “What is it if not nothing, to gain the whole world, but lose ones soul”

Yes I have been cynical and I will take his wisdom to heart. Really trying to rewire my brain after all the trauma Ive had. Its good to be protective but at the same time not at the cost of your own health and if ppl take advantage of you so be it. But dont become what has been done. I see that now. Manifest destiny. Be what you want and it will return. Eventually it will. And if not, you have your pride but I believe being good eventually works out for you. I know being bad begets bad. So the opposite must be true.

Elon Musk's perspective on trust and cynicism as one of the richest men in the world is intriguing. He suggests that being good to people generally results in them being good to you, and he warns against the dangers of cynicism. But in a world where wealth and power can distort relationships, how realistic is this view? Can a person in such a high position maintain genuine relationships, or does their status inevitably attract a certain level of insincerity from others? And what about Musk's reliance on public platforms for feedback - is this a viable way to stay grounded, or does it risk reinforcing a bubble of like-minded opinions?

Negative human bias is a result of evolution in the Amygdala. It did a hell of a lot of good grab your attention when something bad happened or could happen. Survival tool. Happiness takes deliberate practice. So if you feel sucked into the void of negativity, bring awareness and center back to a positive state. We will improve this muscle over time. Spread positivity, you never know, one smile in a grocery store could save someone’s life 😊

It's got to be a little unnerving and surreal to have that much wealth and fame. I hope Elon has a lot of good people around him helping to shoulder the burden of it all 🙏 He did wonderful things for the economy of the FL Space Coast and it's very exciting to see Boca Chica grow into what will likely become Cape Canaveral 2.0.
