…nah, it’s just that he KNOWS that electricity MUST be cheap, because there are so many ways humanity can get it, but the governments and corporations don’t what you to have it for a low price, so they’d make you PAY, and make it seem like its really difficult to get. The same idea with (phone) batteries, lightbulbs and self-sharpening blades - we’ve got technologies to make those things last way more, than they are right now, but it’s not beneficial for the manufacturer, who wants you to pay more and get less.

The thing is. Look at his reaction to being told that electricity is expensive. He obviously knows that’s it’s not as expensive as they’re making us pay.

He said that Australia has an abundance of natural resources in the form of solar, wind and tidal energy which could be turned into electricity which would make it cheap as chips however people are not listening to him. I honestly think this man could solve all the worlds energy problems without any issues. However all the co-operations that own these massive industries that provide the electricity as it is would never allow it as they would all go into liquidation.

Look into the working conditions of his mines, also look at the reliability ratings of his vehicles (most recent Tesla scored a 5/100) this dude is ACTUALLY a POS, but does things, says things, and creates stories to make you like him and buy his products. Start doing research on people, it will really open your eyes

I love this man. No one is perfect, but he is truly an outstanding human being, imo. If we can't colonize Mars, then humans will no longer exist at some point. He was only 17 when he moved to Canada and incurred about $100,000 in student loan debt. He has, and continues to, work very hard for all that he has accomplished. Apparently, he doesn't sleep a lot, either. There are so many things I admire him for. 😊

wow. his surprise. it's interesting how people don't see how some struggle for basic needs. I'm glad she informed him. His response was very heartwarming.

It really hit him and you can tell in his eyes how much deeply he cares for humanity and it is a shame how the US government and some people don't wish him well.

I lost a pet a few months ago. It doesn't matter what species it is. It doesn't matter if it's a human, an animal, a plant, even an object. When you make a huge bond with anything, losing that bond has a great IMPACT on you. What hit me the most is when you showed me the treats he never got to finished as he is already gone. It reminds me of my pet who's treats I still have. The worst part of losing a bond is when the time is more near than you expect. My condolences to you Adam. R.I.P. Milo.

you kidding? Recently a Tesla factory was built in Germany where not only he hadn't a permit to build, but also ignored the fact that the area he built on had or has a drinking water shortage. Meaning that the factory would worsen the situation for the Germans living there.

The more I get to know him the more I see and like. Humble and open to listening. I like that

That’s probably because he was aware of the absolute futility of social distancing actually preventing the spread of a virus. It’s impossible. Eventually, at some point in time, every single person WILL cross paths with Covid-19.

Not just Australia unfortunately. In Ireland and the UK we often refer to it as the "heating or eating" problem. My electricity bill this past December was over €700, even though i haven't turned on the heating in our home for nearly 3 years now.

He is absolutely the most genuine big hearted person.. I adore this man

No we run fossil fuel and it cost alot of coal, alot of mining and alot of transport ya dumb arse. Bet you don't know Australia has an abundant supply of uranium but we don't make nuclear power like the rest of the top countries. We dumb as fuck!

I love how Elon tells them straight, as the top of an electric car company, that Australia should rather burn more fossil fuels than make energy something that is inaccessible to people in the country; that is quite the indictment.

Because a cheap way to make electricity is with fossil fuels.... where do you think your electricity comes from...? The issue with Australia is they're trying to use all "green renewable energy" but our tech isn't there yet. So it's driven up electric costs because the consumer pays for the equipment the power company's need...

Agreed. Climate alarmists (and I do mean alarmists, not activists. It's different) are trying to make everyone miserable and destroy the system instead of fix it. That's why they're against nuclear energy and fracking, two sources that do not increase CO2 in the atmosphere. Read "apocalypse never" for a very well researched and fuller picture by a 25 year climate activist. Alarmists like Greta Thunburg and bill gates are trying to destroy humanity as we have it now, not help humanity to live in Concord with the planet.

I have to say, on the occasions I've watched this man interview one on one, his emotional response always strikes me as so genuine. Whether it be surprise, wonder, intrigue, discovery, sadness. He strikes me as someone who is wholly, genuinely invested in leaving a positive mark for everyone, even if he's out of touch with the often times overwhelming obsticles people actually so many have to overcome to simply exist without the threat of loss of power or food or work or home, etc I like this man

It's true Elon! A work colleague brought a full electric van in the UK for his business, but sent it back after 2 weeks, because in the UK it cost more to fully charge the van, than he was spending on gas.

I'm not saying that he's not sincere but alot of times when I see him talk it's like he spent lots of time studying how "normal" people are expected to behave in social situations, and it just looks like he's mimicking The only time I trusted him emotionally was when he talked about his hardship back in 2008 when he almost went bankrupt

It's China's ESG social credit score system that was implemented in 2014 that partners big tech and big pharma with politics to capitalize income and power. Elon is part of the game. Almost certainly just like everyone else who is in the game; they don't want to be, they're forced to play. But if you say anything or speak against 'The State', you're a conspiracist or disappear and/or get cancelled. In the coming years, our free world will officially not be anymore. It isn't really free now as much as we think it is, but it's all of our "freedoms" that allow us to be such an insanely creative, productive and powerful country that all is being used against us for our place in the next part in this world. America hasn't been a free country for a long time at all and is the ONLY ONE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD... Chances are, it's also not a free country, it's got a different blueprint to follow. This "next part", is already happening and has been building for well over half a century if not closer too. Now it's the, "will it work" part, meaning will the people realize and work together to fight back or just keep on following in line as we all have been. But people are beyond the point of coming together right now, we're all so opinionated and entitled with our phones and our social media platforms and all of this immediate gratification that it's going to take something horrific; EVEN MORE HORRIFIC THAN COVID.... Because that was clearly China's fuck up that they covered up which pretty much, kinda sorta is an act of war, right? That was funded and also covered up by America... so we're obligated by China with this whole fuck up that was unleashed on the world. And people still are fighting each other and arguing over who's "right" because they're fucking feelings matter more than statistical data, facts and science that just can't be denied or changed. I kinda lost the whole point of why I'm even replying right now but I guess this is a couple parts of my POV on whats happening now.
