People romanticising antisocial behaviour and standoffish elitist approaches to human interactions as signs of great intelligence is kind of sad. It’s good to treat others with kindness and attentiveness.

This is how I feel about myself, too. Sometimes I think it is a self fulfilling prophecy at a certain point. You worry about your inability to communicate and it disables you in the moment. I have been trying to go a little easier on myself and try to focus on asking questions that allow people to talk about themselves and then I try to just listen, maybe ask specific questions for clarity or to allow them to elaborate further. Saying that this is a huge problem, not something to brag about indeed (wich I doubt many do it because they think is genuinely cool but because they’re insecure and want others to think they’re not as uncool - or even make someone as uncomfortable as them)

So MAYBE these women didn't even get the chance of even realizing what happened when the relationship ended or why and are still aching. I have a sense that he is an all accomplished person that falls deeply in love and quickly out of love and he has amazing resources to move on and mind what is so much more important in life than looong life long romantic relationships that need constant effort and emphathy and generosity and kindness and self sacrifice to last, most important things which are his dreams, his succes and his children. It's as if a woman just got the so called best man only to see him vanish just like sand falling through your fingers, never behaving like other men who try at least to invest some sort of efforts to make things better, but he is ok to just not waste his energy and move on. Am i making sense, is there any truth in what i just said, or is it my imagination gone too far?!?! People need to chill in the comment section. Elon is Elon, he will not change. Yeah it’s great to treat people with kindness and listen to them, but some people are bad at it or don’t like it and that is just fine. Being a good communicator and a caring person overall is a good trait and very charming but being antisocial and not liking to talk to people or not feeling the responsibility to make them feel better about themselves is just as fine. Let people be

You probably don’t mean antisocial. That’s something you find in narcissists, sociopaths, etc. I think you mean asocial. Also, it’s not about Elon’s social disposition. It’s about his attitude. The giveaway is that the first thing he says about them is “boring.” I have similar experiences when I go out, but I try to start off by recalling something nice about a person.

Small talk is a bit of an art form, but one must exercise great patience with it. It truly is mostly boring. It isn't the small talk or boring conversation that irks me. Shallowness of character and lack of basic human decency are unacceptable to me. Wealth, power, attractiveness, talent all tend to attract people on a very surface level. High intelligence is intriguing. Heartlessness and shallowness repel. I never did like shallow people very well, regardless of how much money or power they had. People pay attention to Elon more than they did before because of wealth accrued ... partially. They usually want his money, or to have their moment of "fame" with him. That's shallow AND transparent to him too. Be real. It beats being surface friendly. It beets shallow and insincere every single time. If someone like Elon has interest in you, he would seek you out and approach you personally after asking associates to seek you out first. Seriously. Tallulah knows this, as do other friends and associates.

Truth. People avoid this fact because it means they're responsible for the outcomes of those interactions, acknowledging that the narcissistic personalities in their lives were chosen by them. The abusers were chosen by them. All of those toxic relationships were options they selected for themselves.
