Yes, it’s about two universes, one with BTS as they are now, and one where they never met, never formed a supergroup, showing what path their lives might have taken (I’m Robert Frost!) just as everyday people. TAEHYUNG has said many times that he would have been a farmer; JUNGKOOK has a black belt in martial arts, always into athletics; JIMIN a baker but still pursuing dance; JHOPE a vet; YOONGI a pianist, still in music; NAMJOON a rapper; and JIN, a CEO of a hotel, the family business. But they each felt unfulfilled without each other, so this song, these lyrics, are from BTS to BTS, telling how they still would have been pulled toward one another, the flashbacks showing them practicing as trainees for their debut with the choreo for NO MORE DREAM. I loved those dual-universe shots, reflecting each other, very reminiscent of YOUNG FOREVER, the MV that is the EPILOGUE for the BANGTAN UNIVERSE storyline. And yes, I do think that YF will end up being the final bit in our years-long story, with BigHit, who always likes to surprise us, having shown us the ending in the very first year, in the HYYH Era. Such sly devils! But oh my goodness, I’ve listened to HEARTBEAT a dozen or more times today, and it sounds better with each listen, as we decipher these beautiful lyrics and drink in the amazing visuals of this music video. And this was created for a computer game! Since when did games have an Original Sound Track?! You can tell that they worked just as hard on this as they do for a comeback, a new album. Didn’t they just release MAP OF THE SOUL? And they’re currently touring! Honestly, when do they rest? But I think they would get antsy, get fidgety, if they had to “rest;” they’re only fully themselves when they’re working, in whatever form that may take!

It’s about the game. BTS world is a game wherein you as a manager will try to build their career as an idol. The scenes are the what if they did not meet and become BTS idols and that will be their lives.

I see the merging of Earth and Saturn. At the end you can see a huge Earth inside the Saturn's ring. Is not an explosion.

I've browsed many other reaction videos about Heartbeat... yours still is the best one so far. Especially you not only notice the words game that RM is playing but also the connection between this song and their previous songs (ex. Mikrokosmos). Thank you. BTW, "Heartbeat" reminds me RM's speech in UNICEF...

Its a song of their soundtrack album for their new BTS World app game they recently released last week which is their third app game they’ve made and it’s also a great intro video to their game that you can download and play for Apple devices, it’s not available for androids yet. *They first two previous app games they released are SuperStar BTS and PuzzleStar BT21*

You Resume Me...RM is stating that they know it was ARMY that was there helping build their popularity, voting on awards & their Comback shows buying & streaming their music. Basically, he sees all of BTS awards as one more thing on their resume and he knows ARMY helped create their list of achievements.

Thank you for missing sleep to react to this. :-) I think a lot of your theory sounds good and in line with some of their types of messages.... but as someone else already said it is for the game where we are back in time creating the band on our own as we are the manager and making choices.... so kind of like defying time and space their destiny has been determined and they are MEANT to be together and the various versions of reality in the universe that could exist but still result in the biggest group on the planet (and in the universe). :-) Thanks again!!!

It's always really interesting to hear your thoughts about everything revolving around the music/MV and what ideas pop up inspired by it. I find the MV absolutely beautifully done and it has such a deep meaning. Plus I love how the stars in the universe are at one point ARMY bombs.. It's a parallel universe, I interpreted as (the rm and suga bumping scene) that in a parallel universe if BTS aren't in BTS and are doing smth else as normal people, they could come across each other at one point but have no idea that in another universe they are so much more.
