This may very well be the most charming band interview possible. Lots of good people get super irritated by kids, but being able to roll with it and treat larva with full human dignity and genuinely enjoy their weird company, I award you legit good-human-being points.

Isn't Ben like the most sweetest and purest soul there is? How friendly and warm welcoming he was to Elliott, yet talked so maturely and focused to him about bullying, just amazing. One of the funniest and enjoyable interviews I've seen in a while! ^^

I wish Ben was my dad. I mean, I'm 24 so he would've been a father at quite a young age, plus he would've been away on tour a lot, busy with band duties etc. Come to think about it, I would've been quite a burden on his formative years becoming a musician. Dillinger comes before my paternal needs though, I think I would've been ok with it. Instead of telling me bedtime stories, I could've just put Miss Machine on. It would've been like he was sitting right next to me, playing really aggressive lullabies and filling my head with complex rhythms. Counting sheep would've gotten pretty intricate. Maybe I would've done better in math class. *Sigh...

I'm a massive Dillinger fan and it's cool to see an interview like this...behind the cluster-fuck-nutty-crescendo-in your face-dissonance that Ben's band so well pushes, Is a man that is soo well grounded, intelligent and family oriented....who would of thought!?

Ah man the part where they are talking about being picked on was awesome of Ben, I got a bit sad seeing how real it was for Elliot, kind of reminds me of my nephew. Super fun to watch.

Ben was just perfect throughout this interview, awesome.

I don't know how I never knew of this interview before, but this is fantastic! As a father and a musician, I find this to be a refreshing approach to interviews. Good one on you for real bud, & major high five to Ben for taking the time to do the segment. I commend him for his approachability and down to earth demeanor. Props to him!

I must admit that i know very little about this band and i'm not really into their sty;e of music. But this guy Ben seems like a really nice, deranged, crazy fun guy and he's obviously good with kids. And making up a song on the fly about diarrhea including Fred Durst reference? What's not to like?
