They’re a hella lot of people on here commenting that fail to realize the best relationships generally begin as friendships. They’re usually the ones that last and survive the hard times. Olivia and Elliott started as friends & partners. Romance is logical.

I love the scene where Liv calls Elliot at home late and Kathy answers and Liv says “ Hey it’s your work wife!”

3:22 as much as I love to see Liv and El defend each other, I'm kinda glad they let Elliot stand back when she did eventually come face-to-face with Wheatley. His trust in her outweighed his fear of her getting hurt or of Wheatley twisting the truth in any way. He knew Liv would take one look in Richard's eyes and see the exact same thing he did in episode 2. Beneath the suits, charm, and money, just another scumbag like they've both dealt with all their lives.

Well, Elliot didn't step in also because he didn't want to confirm Wheatley’s "theory" about Olivia being "the love of his life" ... if he'd reacted at all, he would have given Wheatley exactly what he wanted. That would have made Wheatley put Olivia in his twisted mind as a sure target to get to Elliot even more! ... Both here and in interrogation before when Richard hinted about Olivia, Elliot was very careful not to show any reactions and guarded his expression as best he could... Richard WANTS to prove his theory about how much Liv means to Elliot ...and I'm sure he's gonna experiment with that... Next season. Dun dun! .. lol

@@katherinescully6646 possibly. But we don't know how he knows so that might be pointless. For instance, if he got his hands on that psych eval from season 8 somehow (it was recorded and Wheatley's the tech guy) then he KNOWS knows and there's no point in hiding it.

@@claudinefaure4897 well Olivia said in her meeting with AIB that she does think Wheatley was behind the accident and that it could have been him giving her a "warning shot".

Ohhhh, this couple …. This bond they have …. It is so strong, so encompassing yet they do their jobs, there’s such respect and in spite of it, such love between them, it’s palpable !!!! It is simply delicious!!!!

I swear if no one was around, Elliot would of beat the hell out of Wheatley when he said Liv was a knock out. I felt like his blood was boiling lol. Amazing video!

I'm actually okay with their relationship right now. Olivia is in a great place career wise... She's shown Elliot that he has so much of himself to work on and he's actually listening.. they could keep the relationship under wraps for a while and keep giving us those little moments - I'd be happy. Their mental health is in a decent place right now.

I agree. I just need MORE of those moments to help move that part of the story. We aren’t getting that. Like in this past week’s crossover, there was opportunity for some conversation that needed to be had, but didn’t happen. So, there is room for improvement where writing is concerned. But I am OK with them not jumping right into a full blown lip lock yet.

Wow. Well done. Those are all the snippets we who’ve watched SVU from the very start remember. We wanted them together somehow but we didn’t want Elliott to forsake his vows to do it because it would have cheapened it, made him less in our eyes and unworthy of someone like Olivia. I have no idea what endgame will be. I just know I don’t want Elliott to go up and down on a roller coaster with different women. Ditto w/Olivia and other men. They have so much to tell one another, though. So don’t rush it. Olivia’s dating history (not that she did wrong, mind you), the father of her son, Elliott’s abandonment, Elliott’s kids - these need time. Make it real, writers. But bring them together and don’t jerk us around.

They both have grown being apart and now they are free to have a mature relationship with each other.I hope it happwns.We need a love story with a happy ending.

I am not ready to admit how many times I have watched this video.

Great vid!!! Love the quotes and the background music! I think in s3 they will become good friends again, with needed conversations and spending time together! Flirting, but both affraid to take the next step. Untill the end of s3, when they will have their first kiss...

i have the feeling that even if they really have real feelings for each other i think elliot would go for it (after a time when the grieves isn't so big anymore), but i have the feeling olivia wouldn't go that road, even if she has really feelings for him. And if it is true that he loved olivia more than his wife and only stayed with kathy because he is a good cathlic. They get closer and closer from every minute, you can feel it. But also olivia didn't have real deep conversations about them, about her last couple of years, her lost because she is really hurt that he left her.

That's what I've been thinking too. Angela is a rebound, though with her possibly having something to do with Kathy's death, he's gonna end it with her.

I hope after all of this build up they put them together. I think it would be better now since they no longer work together.
