Thank God it's over.I live in Australia but I did hear something with her relationship with Anne Heche.She told her she needed to dress more masculine. Quite upsetting as Anne Heche needed a better more sensitive partner.I can see over time she's become more of a bully smart ass not funny at all.True colour's.

Some guests are able to turn it into something humourous, some just starts to fall into a darker, more serious place. That's where you act as a host and stop.

Even look at her conduct backstage towards her staff. If she can dish it, she should be able to take it. If she’s afraid her guest will loose their cool, maybe don’t disrespect/embarrass them and she won’t have an issue 🤷‍♂️

The best thing she can do is keep that reality in mind and know how to read different types of people and deal with them accordingly. She obviously evades unnecessary heat. Also, guests are not children. They can decide whether or not they wanna deal with Ellen beforehand. And that alleged backstage deal has nothing to do with anything on the screen. People become mad after hearing that, and start to think Ellen is just this evil witch who's been terrorizing her guests in hatred the whole time. That's far too silly. There is a huge difference between being funny and being a bully. Sadly nowadays not many people realise that difference. Everything is funny and people are mean to others, video record it all, then they call it a Prank. "But she says nice things about them too" No! That is not how it should work. 10 Insults or derogatory Remarks and 2 supportive or encouraging Statements, is not the correct thing to do. Do you remember how she "gives away Prizes" to people who visit her show, but hangs "Take only one" near those things; then she humiliated a Woman ON STAGE, a woman who took a few things. That is not a Host. That is not a bigger person. Make jokes about yourself, to make it funny. Don't humiliate people, who take make time and come to be with you. Took me a while to feel the way these people do...but in the near the end of her show...all convoluted and she was a "B"" to all...and I think all the "stuff" she gave to people was not ever hers to give...just the advertisers and companies that wanted to be plugged....she never gave anything....they did....she ended up being offensive to most......😢

People would rather watch a comedian speak poorly about an actor’s wife while they’re having marital issues and then rally against the husband for his physical retaliation against said comedian. Retaliation the way any non celebrity would on or off camera.

I remember cringing when she was humiliating the lady who dared to take two 😳 Ellen was just fortunate to ‘come out’ at just the right time so she could ride the ‘acceptance’ tide. Sure she did some great things but anyone else could have with the $$ and support of the LGBT community.

No, this is not Ellen being super-rude or rude in any way. She was being obviously funny but certain people are too sensitive to make it through the day without being offended by nothing.

Everybody is so fragile now that is a part of her comedy. It’s part of her character to be kind of obnoxious sometimes or just really not mean all of these clips were very funny you guys are reaching.

Ellen was funny for the most part! Her show was funny, she wasn’t bullying. Maybe she was rude behind the scenes but she was funny on the show.

She's funny people that's it!! Everyone's so sensitive, laugh at yourself , this is the way the Comedians used to be !!
