    she should be officially part of the team, she or someone else like Jenise, pretty much any girl really into skateboarding. There is way too many girls out there that potentially can get to love skateboarding, most of them do not even think of it as guys, since they do not try to land crazy tricks at the street/parks, most girls are just there to have fun with skateboarding. They genuinely offer interesting skateboarding content by being themselves and having fun with their boards.

    True, my daughter was inspired to start by seeing a girl her age on social media skate. Role models are important, they validate choices.

  • @lmclrain

    @lmclrain

    @@Daijyobanai yea, they encourage them to try things that apparently are not for all girls at least as skateboarding keeps growing more and more girls will get into it, and not with the intention of becoming professionals or such, despite them also being capable of that Like believe it or not, at a skatepark it is better if there is mostly girls around, for your daughter to hang around It is really simple, girls most likely see other girls even if they are not their age as role models. Like if there is a girl above 20 years old over there, chances are high that other girls even if they do not approach her, will still learn from she, it does not matter if they learn tricks or things like that, but it is just them seeing another girl practice the sport what tells them, "hey you also can do this same or better too". Even they feel more comfortable watching them skate, since at times boys can be intimidating or just different, simply put their energy is not the same, and that is just natural.

    The fakie bigspin is a weird trick. Some people find it really easy, and others find it difficult. Back when I first started skating around 20 years ago it was one of the first tricks I learned, and I always used to pull it out in games of SKATE with my friends because some of them struggled with it. However, if they threw in a kickflip, I was screwed. I actually learned to Heelflip and Varial Heel before I could consistently land a kickflip. In fact, I could Varial Kickflip more often than I could do a regular kickflip for some reason. It gave me trouble for literally years.
