right on, WY has tons of action! Pro Tip# 3: Setup in front of something and trust your camo. Don't setup out in the open. pro tip # 38: When you hear a bugle, that is the time to nock an arrow so you are ready for a surprise encounter. As you have seen, the elk can be on you in a hurry. The camera guy (wes) isn't hunting so he shouldn't have to tell you to draw. It think we need more Pro Tips from the BRO crew.

Love watching the crew hunting with Trail, Brady, and Zach. I really enjoy watching the go hunt videos on you tube. Humble hunters inspire me and are great to learn from. I hunt elk and deer in CO but am planning on trying WY and NM in 2019 as well. I think the Go Hunt Insider would be awesome but kind of steep with the cost of non resident tags as well. Any chance on offering a combo state package for a reduced price in the future? Would love to see like a two or three state option for a lower price. Just an idea. Thanks for the entertaining videos!

Question for the GO Hunt Guys! I’m fairly new to the Insider membership and I love it! Helped me pick some states like Wyoming and Montana to start gather points in for future OTC out of state hunts! Anyways, my question is if they will be including Turkeys in the Insider any time soon? I think it would be really cool to see that in the western states and then for them to expand it across the lower 48. I love turkey hunting here in Oregon and being able to use Insider for that when looking out of state would be sweet!

Hey Cody, We have some other INSIDER enhancements that we're currently working on, such as adding more states, but adding new species is never out of the question! We have a lot of turkey hunters, like yourself, in the office so its a topic that defiantly won't be forgotten! We are always looking to add more species and value to our INSIDER Members!

Great question, typically harvest success rates are a bit better for rifle hunts, but archery hunting gives you the opportunity to hunt during the rut when you can call and interact with bulls. I would suggest you think about your overall objectives, is it to harvest an elk or is bowhunting/calling and the experience the more important parts of a hunt to you. In terms of states, it's worth applying or buying points in states that offer good opportunities to elk hunt..WY, CO, MT and perhaps applying in NM, ID, AZ, UT, NV if you can find the funds to do so. Overall I would suggest that ID and CO have the best opportunities to pick up a permit OTC and go hunting, whether that's with a bow or rifle. Gear wise, you can get by without the best of the best..but you'll need a weapon, boots, a backpack, knife, binoculars, map, gps is handy, and some navigations skills. Also some research into elk life history, behavior, hunting strategy and mostly a positive attitude and willingness to just go for it.
