The path I just took to accidentally discover this song is WILD. I was listening on Spotify to the It's a Sin cover by Elton John, I looked up the original, stumbled upon Rickard's cover of the song, found One by One, thought it sounded like a eurovision song, looked it up on KZread and here I am.

How is it possible they haven't even reached the finals?

Lorypowa Something in the application they were using for voting crashed, and instead of two rounds of voting, they only count one.... in reality, this song actually came first in the round thrashing even Saade

Elf Princess and Opera Bear killing it.

Elize, Rickard - please, please come back. Please don't be discouraged by the fact that the Swedish public weren't able to recognize that this should've won Melodifestivalen; it won't be the same next year without you. :(

So im running out of words of praise because I am so much praised Elize and every time I see a new clip or a new song I hear from her so enthralled by more and more by her beauty and singing skills and every fleeting moment when I cant listen her voice is a pain and torture because I'm down to my toes in love with her openness, eyes, smile, hair and just to all that she is and will be, and I can say this even tell her face to face just about any time, but they will come next time to Finland in June the moor rock, and I do not know can i handel wait so long, and if longing for the pain goes beyond then need to go overseas to look at him Mortar Troll would like to thank and acknowledge to use these words of love keeping Elize in my mind forever yours Antti Laastipeikko Saari

Elize Ryd was BY FAR the best.This song was very underrated.It's my most favourite song from esc 2015 until now.It should have won.Also,the app crash may have got into this problem.I can't believe the top 2 songs ended in the worst places,Molly and One by one.They were the best.Also,Elize Ryd is so beautiful in this video. I can't still believe.It has happened 1 week ago,and I am still very sad about what has happened.I hope doesn't make a bad mistake and choose Eric Saade only because he went to eurovision once,because he wasn't and isn't the best.

Not just that, the app was revealed during the show so people didn’t know about it. Thankfully, since it didn’t went this way, Jessica Andersson took a spot in the grand final.

The best song from this years Melodifestivalen.I listen this song the whole day.

I came back here after a few months and this song still touches me (and still is extremely catchy!). I don't want to say that Heroes is an one-season hit while this song is just well composed. It is not what matters. I just want to thank you for sharing your voice, for this great collaboration and for writing this masterpiece. You just made someone's life better ;) Thank you once again and if you can, tell mr Söderberg that I'm also grateful to him and everybody that participated. ;)

This could have easily made it to top10 in Eurovision Vienna. But instead Sweden chose Groupie and Don't Stop, etc.. ugh

I hope one day a French song written and sung by Elize, I'm sure it can be done especially the French language and the easiest to voice not in writing. And if possible I would like Elize represented France in a future contest Eurovision.

Eurovision judges are so bad at their job. Elize last year, Avantasia this year. They don't even realize how large and powerful are fanbase of metal bands/artists

sverige har ingen musik smak... Skickar Japan tjejerna till andra chansen men inte Denna..... skäms lite faktiskt... Seriöst tänk om japan tjejerna vinner hela skiten och går till eurovision..... fyfan

The song is fine, but his voice doesn't fit. He's an operatic tenor singing a pop oriented song. His delivery though classically appropriate doesn't sound right at all. He has a good voice, but he should be singing Pavarotti or opera...not something that could be a Top 40 song. Elize sounded great since this falls into her wheelhouse very easily. So no disrespect to him as a singer because he has good cadence and tambor along with control...just he should've known the limitations of his ability. This is not a song that an operatic singer can pull off and make it seem natural.

I think I agree. A gritty meaty voice would have fit well for contrast here, I believe. Either way, love the song!

Actually, I bet Roy Khan from Kamelot would have a great voice for this song. They've worked together many times before... come on, make it happen Elize! :)

Chris Lehne Couldn't agree more about Roy. He's got great range and is one of the more impressive singers in gothic/symphoic metal to show up in recent years, when he's not ill of course.

+Chris Lehne I'm also a big fan of Roy,but haven't you heard? He has retired from metal scene and it's preaching at a church or something like that. :( The biggest loose in music!
