Both species are extremely powerful. No matter how you approach this, Lizzie comes from a powerful and prominent witch bloodline like Hope and Bonnie. There are different degrees of power in the TVD universe and Lizzie much like Josie are pretty powerful since birth. The Heretics are naturally powerful and unique.

She is the first in Hope's bloodline. And the first in Hope's bloodline is Heretics, I wish I could see more what Heretics in Tribrid bloodline can do.

I wanted to see hope and lizzie mass pain people, choke them, do big spells that rival the more powerful witches like they had so much power ESPECIALLY if they did spells together. Heretic josie would have been the makings of a new witch-vampire coven, and heretic dark josie would be even stronger than heretic lizzie since she has dark magic AND can siphon from herself. Also dark josie was wayyyyyy better at siphoning, she almost instantly dessicated mg and siphoned a handful of doors out of the prison world like she would have drained Ken like nothing bc even though magic doesn't work on him directly, she uses dark magic to enhance her siphoning which lizzie couldn't do without casting a spell which would be directly using magic on Ken which wouldn't work

@@flopnumber2765 Dark magic stays in your body unless it's put somewhere else by another witch plus josie's feats with magic are wayyyy stronger also the whole losing dark magic thing after turning doesn't apply bc they siphon vampires as mortal witches with ZERO affects meaning its not dark magic they are siphoning otherwise they would get nose bleeds, burns, or pass out bc they can't handle dark magic compared to regular witches. Also siphoners keep the magic they siphoned or dark magic they absorbed when they are in transition which was proved in tvd season 6 when Kai used magic in transition to magically pull his dad to him to drink his blood to become a Heretic

@@kevaughnrichardson2216 it took lizzie like 5 seconds to dessicate sebastian through a kiss and dark josie instantly dessicated mg, she can siphon faster and hold more magic. Let's go to season 3 when hope, and lizzie were opening up the prison world and all of season 2 dark josies dark magic was stored in that prison world so when they opened a portal the dark magic froze them in place and was corrupting them very fast they both had dark veins growing up their bodies. Regular josie joined in and couldn't handle it either. Hope would have died and woke up in transition to be the tribrid and the twins would have just died. Dark Josie held all that power in season 2 and had enough magic to cast a spell to enslave the immortal malivore and switched jades humanity back on and siphoned doors out of the prison world and also siphoned immense dark magic from lizzie plus she turned hope to stone and flew like sis was doing it all. Heretic lizzie has the potential to do sooo much especially if she turns to dark magic

@@blooxylips tbh it would’ve been so nice to see Valerie in Legacies season 5, teaching Lizzie more about their Coven and Heretics. I mean Legacies as a show has so so much potential, it was ruined by the writing and it’s cancellation. Honestly with a better company/network Legacies would be so much better, and live up to its true potential. I’m still so bummed it never got to be as iconic as TVD and TO.

It was sire not compulsion there a difference sire is where you can control someone without making eye contact or something like that but compulsion is where you have to make direct eye contact to control them sire isn’t that hard to break only if they want to break it as seen but in Oder to break it you would have to break free with your might don’t matter how powerful you are just as long as you want to break free

She can’t, vampires become sterile once they turn since they are dead and their reproductive system isn’t fully vital. Hope is only able to conceive a child because she is part werewolf, what her parents are, and has her dads blood in her veins. Lizzie just became a vampire from vampire blood like any other vampire since she isn’t a werewolf

No that's only for original vampires with a werewolf side like klaus and hope. You have to be a vampire from a spell not another vamps blood and also be part werewolf so lizzie is still technically dead but she could do what was done to her as a baby and use a spell to put a baby inside herself and she could give birth like caroline

It depends because just because a siphoning parent gives birth to witch doesn’t mean they’ll siphone too. Sometimes they have their own magic. And siphoners are most commonly seen along twins

in theory maybe but that’s only on the basis that the siphoning ability will pass along to that child, which may not be the case. Josette was a witch with her own powers, not a siphoner and still birthed 2 siphoners so the reverse could also play out

Bonnie’s mom didn’t keep her abilities of being a witch because she’s was a witch with powers of her own that she can Use at her own time. But witches with powers of their own when they transition they can’t keep their abilities to use witchcraft or none of that. Why is because witches believe in the natural order of things. They believe that everything’s should die at a time and not be immortal but vampires are immortal which is a problem. Now Lizzie is a witch with no powers of her own when it comes to magic. Why I don’t know but I do know that she has to absorb magic things to use that magic or magic source for something a witch with power would do. When siphoner witches transition into a vampire they can retain there siphoning abilities because they don’t have power of their own and the ability to make up for that is siphoning.

Basically witches who were born into the Gemini Coven are syphon witches so if they die they become a heretic which is a vampire and a witch. Regular witches who aren’t born into the coven would just turn into a vampire if they have blood through their system when they die.

Lizzie was born a siphoner. Unlike regular witches, she doesn't have her own source of power. But when a siphoner becomes a vampire, they retain their ability to siphon magic. Vampirism is a dark spell, it's power. Heretics like Lizzie siphon their own vampirism, it is their power source for magic. So theoretically, she isn't a witch, but in actuality she functions like one, because her own dark vampirism curse provides her magic.

@@dominikadomaczaja5019 The reasons: -Fewer weaknesses than Heretics -More Supernatural strength and durability(Due to combo werewolf+vampire) -Immunity to wood and Stake An Heretic can use magic against hybrids but in my opinion is that they can’t hold an hybrid off for long due aggressivity of werewolf side enhanced with vampirism which could lead hybrid ripping heart of an heretic if it doesn’t kill straight off by immobilizing and rip hybrid’s heart or siphoning completely. If hybrid is aware of wolf bite siphon then it would probably choose to rip heart.

Heretic use spirit magic/traditional magic from the magic of vampirism for spell, it isn’t enough power to subdued an hybrid of werewolf and vampire. Before hybrids were turned, they were untriggered and had supernatural abilities such as strength, agility then triggering wolf gene wolf enhanced strength, stamina and durability. Vampirism enhance what you are already so the magic of lycanthrope is enhanced more because of vampirism. For heretic to put down an hybrid, they have to rip Hayley’s heart o her head. or simply neck snap then rip heart. Siphoning an hybrid is different because they more magic because of being born magical supernaturally and enhanced more magic. The other scenario is siphoning magic of an Original and use against hybrid but it extremely low chance happening. An hybrid will get upper hand if they don’t have any strategy or knowledge.
