This lift is over 3.7 times his bodyweight, which places him well into the "elite" category, even by the standards of competitive powerlifting. Most charts don't even go past 2.5-3 times bodyweight for elite lifters.

Dont look at the "x times body weight", but at wilks score. It's easier for smaller people to lift 3-4x times their BW than bigge people.
All those people are just so confused with the brains telling them that what they are seeing is just not possible, but here they see it right before their very eyes. Such a good sense of humor and cleaver pranks to set them up. The look of awe is just the cherry on top of the shake. great video again.
I wonder how long it’s gonna take before everybody in every gym in the world recognizes Anatoly and he can no longer do his pranks. :D

@@adikickass84 Venice beach is one thing, but i think more about situation like this: Walmart. Parked car is blocked by some heavy weight (in various forms - I don't mean gym weights of course). Various people tries to help (maybe even some police is called :P) everyone is helpless, thinking about calling a crane and THEN, the old Walmart cleaner is coming for rescue... :D Most people in the world dont care about gym enviroment, but THESE types of videos can make him a WORLD PHENOMEON he deserves to be :)
Love the fact that the boys in the gym are getting demotivated by watching you lifting the weights 😂
