Elite Force Umarex Competition H&K 416A5 , review

Now onto the EF/UMAREX 416A5 full polymer Competition model. I have been extremely impressed with this budget-friendly AEG and for the price and it being full polymer you get some nice features that you would normally only expect to see on something like the high-end VFC. You can find these from numerous retailers in the US and overseas. I will say if you are outside of North America and in particular the United States I might consider some of the other options that are close in price point and full metal though if that is your jam. Here in the US, we have 2 options this model and the over 500 USD VFC OEM EF 416A5. Overall this has been a very reliable Airsoft gun for the money and I am pleased with its performance, feel, and function.
I would have liked it if the buffer tube nut came locktited to the receiver as it was hand lose when I took it out of the box. Also, it doesn't appear that the rail is easily removed and swapped out which I dislike. If I had to do it all over again though I would buy without hesitation and as a matter of fact will actually be adding a second to the armory for my son and his FGNE kit as well.

If I remember correctly it should have a cyma platinum gearbox. The mosfet only really protects the trigger contacts, it's not like a titan that's fully adjustable.

You are correct. The MOSFET is not an adjustable style like the Titan. I couldn't find concrete info about the gearbox, so I didn't mention it, but I do believe that it is a CYMA OEM AEG and possible a CYMA platinum gear box. The hop up and inner barrel aren't too bad out of the box, but I would still recommend an R-Hop or the like to get better range.

Yeas. Its a CYMA Platinum Gearbox. ECU/MOSFET confirmed. Solid gearbox. Hopup is good, I hop .28s out to 60m no problem. Solid performance and features for it's price.

I ran .25s about a week ago at the Blood Money II event, and it was fantastic. The AEG is a solid performer for the price. I was going to .28s and will absolutely need to give them a shot now.

@@Muddy_Reviews yeah, .28s are definitely worth it, and I run 11.1 in mines too, and it's snappy and fast. Def a solid performer. I'm getting 1.1j which is roughly 300ish fps with .28s but I love the accuracy at range with .28s. Definitely recommend bro.

@thelarproom you sold me, I am running an 11.1 in mine as well. It is extremely snappy and crisp for a "budget" AEG. I honeslty was surprised at the features it has.
Great review. I was seriously considering this for my indoor gun or spare. I just don't trust myself around full polymer lol.

It's extremely solid for a polymer AEG. I was actually really surprised at how nice it feels.This would make a great loaner gun...indoor, you might need to put a lighter spring in it as it chronos close to 400 and at D14 my local field it is a 20 foot MED.

@@Muddy_Reviews we are finally getting the battle lab indoor field at the evike Outpost here in Vegas. The FPS limit is 400 with no MED. So my current primary will work just fine but I wouldn't mind getting something like this as a beater for the indoor field.
