Easily one of the best covers of anything I've ever heard.
Beautiful! I just purchased a copy. (Hey y'all, if you like this song, don't just stream it -- send the singer some cash!)

They get royalties from streaming as well.

@@esmalski1810 Like a fraction of a cent per stream. But you can buy a digital copy of this song from bandcamp for 1 CAD and the artist keeps most of it.

@@esmalski1810 I wasn't trying to be a smartass. I have a few friends who are independent musicians and they tell me that they get about 0.002 cents per hit. But at least their music is out there and being heard. It may prompt a percentage of those people to subscribe to their channel/website/FBpage/Patreon.....and purchase items from them.
Always liked this song but Eilsapie makes it her very own! Loved the B&W video as well.
Definitely my new favorite version of this song! Excellent job, you are greatly appreciated! 🌞☺️🌞☺️🌞☺️

Absolutely agree
Wow! J'ai eu la chair de poule! Une superbe interprétation, puissante et magnifique! 🤙🏼🤙🏼
And now I’m just needing you to cover “Kiss Me” by Sixpence Nine the Richer, something by The Cranberries, or “Lovefool” by The Cardigans. You have a beautiful voice!
Even if you didn’t know it was Heart of Glass. She’s a beautiful voice and a beautiful song
This! This I heard on CBC radio yesterday and it took my breath away. So glad I found You...I am an ordinary Canadain woman in my 70's and I think I just danced with the angels! and including the lyrics on your video? - wow!

Does anyone know where this was filmed, it's so beautiful.
Your voice made the cold of your video feel warm. Blondie should be proud!
This is so beautiful, I love it! 🥰 The song, the voice, the language, the footages and imagery… 🧡 Just WOW! 💕🪶
It’s brilliant. Such a sweet clear voice, perfect for the song. Understated and yet haunting. Beautiful video.❤
This is really lovely. Very different from the original, but still recognisable in its melody. The music video is really nice too, feels weirdly nostalgic as someone who grew up in a snowy area, although I'm not from this culture.
Merveilleuse version folk, bravo Elisapie!
And PURCHASED! I couldn’t stop listening to this! 🥰
This is brilliant, talk about covering a tune and making it your own ❤
Qu'elle magnifique interpretation. Félicitations.
Félicitations pour ta voix si douce et les belles images d'une autre époque bravo ❄️💙❄️
Awesome cover of Heart of Glass. I bought the vinyl, and I can't wait to listen to it.
WOW!! I'm just speechless right now...such a powerfull song and such a beautifull voice! Just keep on doing what you do 'cause you do it very well! Thumbs up!
Dear Miss Elisapie. Thank you for making this song feel so deep, you have done an incredible job with this one. The images with the song are so perfect, such happy kids, so much warmth. Thank you.
Bought a copy and play it all the time in our office. Thank you. I hear Deborah Harry loves it. She should. Congratulations on this amazing rendition.
ok instant tears thats one of most beautiful tones of voice ive ever heard wow ❤
I dont know why.. but every time I hear this song I cry..a good cry. Beautiful.
Just listened to this Inuit remake of Heart of Glass and it brought tears to my eyes to see a people who lived in such a harsh climate but found joy and laughter in simple basic things to experience harmony what can be more beautiful than this. And this music comforts you through it all. Blessings please continue to offer your gift of songs with heart. Thank you. Thank you❤

So beautiful!!! My grandmother and her siblings (all half native,) were raised in Fort Yukon, and watching this with the music reminds me of her beautiful stories of her life in beloved Alaska. Thank you for sharing this beauty!!! 🙏❤️❤️❤️

Relative, please do not call people "half" native. Could you imagine being measured like a dog or a horse and someone called you "half Canadian" or "half American" as if to imply, you're being "bred out" by a superior race which holds such power? This is a colonial mindset. It also harms the other "half" (the unsaid half: whites, from Europe) and implies the white settlers are parasites, seeking to absolve and replace. This colonial mindset of "half breeds" when it's used to Indian people of Turtle Island, is very destructive. I do not scold you, relative. Please hear these decolonized words, with love.
Brilliant. It brought tears. The definitive cover.
This is such a beautiful version of Heart of Glass, a song from my childhood filled with fond memories. I just heard this on CBC mid-way through and it took my breath away. So glad I found it!
So powerful music and images! So spoken with truth! Thank you for sharing, thank you for your music, qujanarsuaq!
Je viens d’entendre sur Radio Canada que Debbie Harry herself avait envoyé un courriel de félicitations pour cette reprise, alors : bravo 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 ----- I just heard on Radio Canada that Debbie Harry herself had sent a congratulatory email for this recovery, so: well done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Gorgeous voice❤❤❤❤
Wow... this is so beautiful... the voice, the images and thank you for including the words! what a beautiful beautiful video.
Just beautiful doesn't cover it. A friend said "ethereal" and that seems a perfect summation. Thank you.
The visuals are an added sweetness

I second that; one of the most beautiful covers I have ever heard heard, I feel like I want to get lost in the great north with that haunting violin! Being Canadian it makes me happy to hear that some native cultures were able to hold on, keep sharing your music and stories:)
I grew up in Ft McPherson, NWT in the 1960s. The visuals remind me of my parents Super-8 footage of that area from the dogsleds/pre-snowmobile era. Cool take on this classic song.
Being from the states, I am so happy that Roku and other TV streamers carry the CBC. I just saw the interview. Greetings from Syracuse NY.
Sublime!

This is wonderful! and her voice is so pure
Such a beautiful version of one of my fave songs, and the film footage is such a treasure!
So good, seriously. And thank god we have the CBC, the only radio station actually plays amazing music like this. That's where I heard it, anyway. Remember that - we need public, non-privatized, tax payer funded media in order to hear this sort of groundbreaking artwork.
Brilliant, A Bright Northern Star harkening us back, back, to seeing 47 ways of snow.

There's never been a song in any universe or any camp that's better than this one. It needs a few more listens.
My favorite version of this song. Honestly, I never liked it until I heard this, today, on KSPC 88.7 (Claremont, CA). I heard it in the car, then came home and looked it up.
Fantastic, my relative.
Que c’est beau 🥰 tout en douceur 🌟
This song remember me the generic of the anime "Pokahintas" queen of Indian. Beautiful song. I love it!
