Dermot Parker exactly. Fucking exactly. Eurovision deserves songs like the Israel one. Not that i am not singing it from time to time, but it's not comparable to the Estonia or the Hungary one, which i also adored. It's a shame that 'different than usual' songs don't get what they deserve.

I'm not denying that this song is amazing (it was my favourite) but it did place lower in televoting than the juries. So while the juries should have rated it higher, so should the public that voted.

The televote placed this lower than the juries did. Televote placed it 9th with 102 points, whereas the juries put it 6th with 143 points. Televote gave more points to Moldova and Ukraine of all countries ^^'

It makes me sad that "professional" juries don't have the ear for this kind of music. They put Sweden, a simple pop song that could be performed by anybody, above such an amazing song and such an amazing performance. For years now juries are putting down any song that are leaning towards the opera. Such a shame.

In an interview, beautiful Elina said her dream is to perform at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. Today she showed the whole world how well modern Opera art can sound, worthy of the best world stage venues. I believe one day her dream will come true and this beautiful girl with a fantastic vocal range will have a great future as a world-renowned Opera Diva like Sarah Brightman, Emma Shapplin, Anna Netrebko and many others. Voted for her only and still delighted with the phenomenal voice, amazing performance and hard work of this truly talented singer. Many thanks again, Elina!

Whitecloud I came here to compliment this lovely song and performance, not to feed that kind of remarks, but...hey, even if it's rigged, a thinking brain or a comitee still needs to choose the "rigged" winner, right? And who would choose it? Europe, right? I mean, who else would it be? So the beginning of my sentence stands either way. :P

Greetings from the UK. I was with three friends, we were talking to one another as Eurovision was on, and this was the act that made us stop and just listen. Her voice is absolutely insane. I love how effortless she looks when singing it. Fantastic makeup, a dress that won't be forgotten, and a voice that soars almost as high as the stars she wants to reach. Whatever the results, this was by far my winning voice. I still have chills when she breaks into the second chorus. Phew! Well done, Elina. Stunning in every way. I hope she's proud for representing her country with this enchanting piece.

This is truly a masterpiece. As a person in depression, this made me feel euphoric. It is a pity that the voice was wasted for a contest with such fucked up criterias. This voice deserved so much more.

Elina made a huge impact in Eurovision and she proved that she has one of the best voices in Europe (maybe the world).

Finnish jury didn't give Estonia any points and gave Israel 12 points. I honestly have a question about this.

Lithuanian jury didn't give Estonia any points either. Meanwhile Finnish and Lithuanian people gave Estonia 12 points. We should get rid of the juries asap.

me and my partner were there that day. we watched the family show/grand rehearsal in the afternoon. We both got goosebumps while she was performing... i know it was a year with a lot of great songs but she should have been among the top 3 that night! We were gobsmacked by the power of her voice and performance. In other songs i remember the crowed cheering , talking , laughing... when she started singing we went all silent...

The fact she did not win says absolutely nothing about her performance or the song, it has alot to say about what Europe came to, because the stage wasnt deserving of a masterpiece such as this. The lyrics, the shots, the voice..

I don't understand why the juries didn't give this masterpiece more points :/ NOT OKAY!!!!

It was my first Eurovision watching party as an Indian dude with a bunch of Europeans. This performance was transcendental. I was shocked when it didn't win.

Eurovision is all about countries giving points to their neighbouring countries. It hasnt been a song contest for decades

i am sorry but i willl judge! the lyrics were pure carbage, the music was mostly non existent. She was just making weird faces and trying to pass it on as ''authentic''. I am very sad with how music is perceived nowdays
