    Love your video. Hope you don't mind answering a question. Okay, when you record in Elgato, isn't the audio recorded in stereo? I wish that I could figure out how to record 5.1 when using the method you showed above. Also, tell me if you notice any real difference in your recordings -- without it being recorded in surround sound? Is there that much? Thanks, great video. Please, keep helping the Community with what you are showing all of us.

    Do check. I think EVERYONE seems to say stereo. But, I'd like to find way to record in surround. Not sure if possible in easy fashion. But, lot of stuff that I like, you can't find on DVD. Like Paranormal stuff or Bigfoot videos are only online, and I'd go broke trying to pay $9.99 to $14.99 each for them. So, be nice to "time-shift" them where I can decide to watch them later.

    Hi, I recently bought a Capture Device Called Ezcap 284 to capture my gameplay and stream using OBS. But when I connect it to my Graphics Card it shows, "This display doesn't support HDCP" and now I can not record my gameplay using OBS. Should I buy a Splitter to get the overlay of the capture card in the OBS?? Please help, it would mean a lot to me!!!

  • @GamingCanBeFun

    @GamingCanBeFun

    5 жыл бұрын

    Yes, I would buy an HDMI splitter... a splitter bypasses most HDCP errors. Only reason "i believe" it says display doesnt support hdcp is cuz there is a communication error between ur console and pc. For example, a ps3 has hdcp built inside of its hdmi port. There is no setting to turn it off. An hdmi splitter bypasses this n ur able to get signal from the ps3 to the computer anyway. Hence, bypassing the security of the signal

    @@GamingCanBeFun I play games mostly on my PC and want to use the capture card and record my gameplay in the same PC. I have connected the Capture Device in the Graphics Card and then the card to the Monitor and in the NVIDIA control panel it says "This display doesn't support HDCP". So is buying the HDMI splitter will really work? I already spent my one month salary on buying the capture card so that's why I am asking you again and making sure. Thank you so much for the fast reply. Most of the KZreadrs don't have this quality.

  • @GamingCanBeFun

    @GamingCanBeFun

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@BanglaWashYT why would u buy a capture card when ur Nvidia graphics card already has a recording feature? If ur just recording on PC directly, just use OBS or GeForce Experience software. Both free. If using OBS, right click under sources on bottom of software and select "game capture". This will detect any fullscreen game that opens. Once the game opens, count to 10, then hit the windows symbol key to switch back to OBS and you'll see ur game in the OBS preview window. Now, depending on how powerful ur Nvidia graphics card and processor is, you can set the fps of the videos to 60 frames a second by going to settings on the right of the software, then clicking video on the left. Changing the base resolution (ur monitor) and also the Output (Scaled) resolution (the video recording's resolution). Know that if outputting to 4K on a monitor that isn't 4K will produce stutter and lag when playing the 4K video. Has nothing to do with the computer's inability to play it if ur for certain ur graphics card can play 4K. Also changing the common fps values to 60 so it outputs the video to 60fps which is the max KZread supports. Remember, higher quality content can equate to higher pay from sponsors and advertisers on KZread. This is why I made the big jump and spent over $3,000 on my computer to "invest" in making 4K game videos. 1080p, to me, is SO 5 years ago. lmao. Also depends on how much u can afford. U invest money to make money. Remember that. Life of a KZreadr. 1 more thing, go to settings in OBS again and click on Output on the left, making sure Output mode is set to "simple". Then under Recording, set quality to 1 of the top 2 in the dropdown box. I like to use "indistinguishable quality", however this uses a lot of hard drive space. Remember what I said earlier, quality wins on KZread. You'll get paid more in the longrun... So if u have the harddrive space, do it. Change format to mp4 since most video editing software supports mp4 for editing the footage if u edit videos. Encoder should be set to Software x264 low CPU usage preset. It also increase video file size too but I do it cuz I have issues with the original Software settings. Probably because I record 4K videos and anything below 4K doesn't need the CPU as much anyway so it'd be a waste of time to use the CPU as much for recording 4K. lol. If u want flashback recording, u can turn on Replay Buffer n put the amount of seconds (just multiply however many minutes u want to record back in time by 60 seconds and u can get the seconds to put in this), under maximum memory, put 8000 as this is the max OBS supports right now. Make sure u have 8GB RAM or more in ur computer if setting it to 8000. Also change the hotkeys on the left under Hotkeys and change the Replay Buffer keys (mainly the Save Replay key in the middle) cuz u can just click start Replay Buffer in the main OBS window when u set everything up. In the same dialog under Streaming (if u stream), the video bitrate should be lower than KZread's recommendations cuz streaming is very hardware consuming. For 1080p 60fps footage, KZread recommends 4500 to 9000 bitrate for live streaming, but I usually go a little less than the first value. So, instead of 4500, I might go 3500 or 4000. I say this cuz I live stream 4K 60fps and KZread recommends 20,000 to 51,000 bitrate for livestreaming that. lol. I put 16,000 which is less than the 20,000 it recommends. Keep in mind, the higher in bitrate u go, the more internet usage will occur. Fast internet is a MUST for live streaming. I pay $150 a month for 1Gbps internet. I can download a 50GB PC game in less than 10 minutes with my internet. It's also fast enough to livestream 4K video. support.google.com/youtube/answer/2853702?hl=en U really don't need a capture device unless ur recording from a console to ur PC. U just use software to record PC activity directly as most Nvidia graphics cards have this capability built in. And you're welcome. I didn't reply fast this time cuz I went to bed. lol.

But the thing is I have GT 1030 which does not have a NVENC encoder in it so I can not stream or record using Gforce experience which I did not know when I bought this. I though as 1050, 1060 and 1080 has this feature the 1030 will also be enough to record my gameplay.
