    Excellent film again Rafael. Lots of folks see race day and the hoopla but it's these solo, sometimes miserable training sessions that people don't see. It was a perfect start to my day off today watching that, as I have the 100km Race to the Stones tomorrow. 🤞

    @@rafaelhidalgo unfortunately, a DNF for me at 72km. I suffered from some calf cramp but painfully, a searing pain in my left hip, which happens now and then. Very disappointed but it happens,

    Hello Rafael, encore un super film et merci de partager tout cela !! Question : pour préparer un 100 miles comme l'UTMB ou autre, il est préférable de faire plusieurs "petites" courses de prépa comme tu le fais, ou est-ce qu'une "grande" course d'environ 120km ?

    Salut Laurent merci pour ton message et ta question qui est pertinente. C’est une question que plusieurs d’entre nous trailer nous posons. Le consensus à Verbier est qu’il vaut mieux faire le 80km pour préparer l’UTMB plutôt que le 120km car le 120km prendrait trop de temps de récupération. Perso je pense qu’il faut en effet faire plusieurs courses plus courtes pour se préparer mentalement ainsi que peaufiner son équipement, nutrition etc… ca te don e plusieurs opportunités de tester les différents éléments.

    Merci pour ton retour! Complètement d'accord, la 120 au verbier est définitivement trop proche de ton échéance, et en effet, peut etre préférable de se tester plusieurs fois sur des formats entre 42 et 80. Encore merci à toi pour tes vidéos, et bonne fin de prépa 💪
