Dear Elena, I listen to your version of this song very often, and I sing it on the piano too. It moves me, it touches my soul very deeply. I live in Canada but my country of origin, Lebanon, has also a history of war and suffering, and so I definitely relate to the poetry of Ils sont Tombés.
