I don't know if it's the ticket prices or what the reason is for the lack of attendance? Of all places, I would think Miami would be a hotspot for people to go out there to watch a good match. Great comeback win by Elena after dropping 2set...she had to play lot of 3 sets matches this tournament...losing crucial points including match points(against Maria) has become routine thing for Elena...her serve helps her in win and she needs improvement is all court play as when she comes to net she is hitting or giving opponent easy winners to hit rather than placing it away from opponent...seen her losing most of points while coming to net which is an improvement area for Elena hope she will work with her coach on that...wish her good luck for the finals...

Rybakina comes across as such a smooth and economical player that gives most of the top players fits. I am actually a bit surprised she hasn't been more dominant in the slams. I feel her game matches up well to almost anyone.
Elena just pushed the ball in the second set, adding some spin on the forehand cross and it's not her essence. It cost her a bagel. In the third set she realised that high forehand cross from azarenka can be tackled by down the line flat shot, i was screaming that the whole second set... funny that she realised it in the third only, but thank god she did... i am amused how long it took her to do that

I read in one of her interviews that she didn't have proper personal training during her formative teenage years (for some reason Russian tennis federation didn't consider her a promising prospect, that's the reason she switched to Kazakhstan btw), that's why it's very difficult for her to maintain proper form throughout the whole year. You can sometimes see how exhausted she looks comparing to Swiatek, Sabalenka, Gauff and many other players who usually look so fresh and full of energy. That's why in her case to move up in ranks it's the battle with her fitness.
Free to celebrate but celebrations don't win matches. Sometimes some players celebrate more than how they play. Guess it is all about building confidence also.
Love Aza but Rybakina is such a smart player.. she let her level drop in set 2 so she had something left in the tank for set 3 after her crazy long last match. She found a way, it paid off. Bravo!

Congratulations to Rybakina's team on reaching the finals. But as a fan of Elena, I will say that Azarenka played amazing in some places, added a show to this fight. Elena plays artlessly for the hundredth time, she has to hit the ball in the opposite direction from her opponent, causing her to lose a lot of strength. And Elena also needs to improve her speed.

Good match. Was a deep hole Rybakina was in, especially after that six love set.
I applaud Rybakina's persistence with drop-shots. Even if it costs her a couple of points now, it's sure to become a weapon once mastered. However, she must find a way to take more of the opportunities that come her way. Not doing so makes for interesting matches, but she can't get away with it time and again.
The 2nd set was like a literal nightmare for the viewer and probably even more for Rybakina wtf was that? 5pts? Is that possible? Big respect for Vika she dragged out of the soul this final set tiebreak she was the one on the control but couldn't impose it unfortunately for her Rybakina isn't the kind who would be impressed by crowd pressure or any kind of pressure, sometimes it's all the player needs.
