I'm giving away examples. I'm fairly sure I didn't suggest that she has to become X. I'm pointing out the obvious excessive arm flailing. Pointing out her age is somewhat silly... It's obvious that she is young and still has room to grow, hence my first comment.

do u reckon the Chaya ice skates are good? they are only like 100 bucks or something. It's Powerslide. My PS blades and Chaya rollerskates were like 500 and they are good. Idk why the ice skates r so cheap.

I found this video in 2021, when all the girls are trying 4 quads. But I love her skating so much! She is so musical, so artistic, so glowing!

You know, for her hight her jumps are absolutely fine. She is not that tall to jump with the strength of Lisa Tuktamysheva, with her body capasity. Look at her muscles....

Regina David Adelina is pretty much the same height as Radionova and she jumps extremely high though.

Jorge Garcia Elena hasn't gone through puberty yet. It's impossible for her to build up muscle. You can see her arms and legs are so spindly. She jumps quite high for her age and build and, unlike another unnamed Russian skater, she has good basic jumping technique.

Really? I don't get that from this performance at all. I love that she changes her facial expressions with the changes in music which is in contrast to a number of other skaters, including one of her teammates in particular. I think she connects very well with the audience and as you say in your other comment, that is something that's only going to improve with maturity.

Troy Turner I understand what you're saying and I believe her skating will continue to mature wonderfully. It's just that you said it seemed she was "going through the motions" which implies a lack of enthusiasm or spirit and that's what I disagreed with.

lyverbird1973 i understand where youre coming from also. She is very spirited and you can tell that she enjoys her skating. She needs more refinement. Even as much as i LOVE Julia Lipnitskaya, she also needs improvement in her jumping technique. Her spins are phenomenal. She reminds me of a younger Sasha Cohen with her flexibility. Elizaveta is the best jumper and artist out of the Russian ladies. Huge jumps and wonderful sense of flair and artistry.

Troy Turner Agreement there too! I know I'm meant to love Julia and I like her but sometimes the flexibility display on spins and spirals feels gimmicky and looks uncomfortable. Liza is most definitely top of the Russian roster right now but I think her main challenger in the near future will be Elena. So much to offer and so much more to come.
