+CreamyButta I disagree somewhat. For you purist ..no arguement but there is that cute little back hop/skip is Eleggua, the way she was flaing her arms , more Eleggua.

This a feast for my eyes, the way I look at it : it is passionate art that can only be performed from their heart ,body and soul ,I wonder where Kati is from,my husband was an excellent afrocuban dancer ,he was thought by Javier Francis in Bellas Artes school for modern dance in Mexico City ,he will enjoy all of this if he was alive, thank you Kati and Warren ! Awesome performance ! It would be good to see you guys in San Diego in the near future ,God Bless !

Kati Teaches in and around LA. She has a large following in her classes and recitals all over the world. I was told she is an accomplished teacher that hails from Cuba. What I loved most about her was her willingness to share her knowledge of song and dance with everyone she meets, no matter what level you are. I was bought to her class by my Afro-Cuban drum teacher to just observe and learn the songs and how the dance, drums and songs inter-twine It was more than I could ever ask for.

This was not an Elegua dance. It was an Obatala Odudua dance with an Oshun song dance done as Oya. And a Yemoja song thrown in as well. Confusing and misleading. At least change the title of your video to "Orisha" dance interpretation. Oh, and Baba Obatala never dances with his face looking to the ground.
