    So it's basically a rally style anti lag without the tuning of rich afr during closed throttle conditions?

    I think this is really good idea especially on older cars and when you don’t have loads of money for setting up a anti lag system it would be the next best thing. People dont realise what is involved to get a anti lag system working plus a standard turbo and manifold won’t last long at all so that needs changing really. Ur Talking thousands of £ ....so to reduce lag and make u get that power quicker on ur daily driver or something without changing loads of stuff for a fraction of the price can’t be a bad thing! I would buy this if the price is right? Sometimes lag is fun like waiting for a explosion to happen but sometimes it’s just annoying when u want to go sideways ! You know you got the power to but you just can’t have it!

    ive done similar on my gf8 impreza wagon i used the reculation vavle from the top mount intercoler into the up pipe i also got a hawk eye manifold used the lambda sensor hole to hooked up a spark plug and coil system uped the fuel ratio a little bit and got anti lag if i dont use the spark plug system it pops a little when spark plug system is on its loud and bangs like a mother haha and no lag with ether i just like it loud n good luck hope it goes well for you

    The cfm needed to spool a turbo to 15 psi or so would need a very large tank and would last only a couple seconds. And a 12v compressor would take 20 min to get a tank that big to 80psi.

    Why would you waste the compression on spooling the turbo. why cant you just release it straight into the intake

  • @EmpireEcho

    @EmpireEcho

    Because it cools down the temp of the back wheel too...and recycl bov just put the air to the turbo intake since anti lag press the wheel more down...

    0:53 Does antilag boost while accelerate rather then boosting when decelerate..???

    Turbo lag is the delay it takes for the turbo to spool (start spinning fast enough to produce boost). Basically you put your foot down, not much happens then after a second, or two, or three you start getting power. Once the turbo is spooled the engine is producing more exhaust gas (since it's taking in more air) and can keep the turbo spooled (in a sense the engine is a gas-generator for the turbo). Antilag keeps the turbo spinning when you're off throttle so that you have boost as soon as you start accelerating.

    Ive been researching this same topic for years and as many different implementations as i can that reduce turbo lag. Currently one of my cars has a 2jz gte in it, with the twin turbos - and they are even laggier than what i prefer. So i bought a single turbo setup to swap too, and the size of the new turbo is fairly large, because i need it to reach my horsepower goal, but I have one fitted with a light billet wheel- less rotating mass,log style manifold ( not tubular) for quicker spool, i even have a "Quick Spool valve" that is run off an actuator and turns a flap that like half of a butterfly valve- that sits between the turbo and the turbo manifold, my computer( ecu) has antilag function built in, and i spent over 2 months trying to speak with someone at turbosmart that had more than general info so i could purchase and setup one of their "Fresh air " ALV " units- only to have them tell me on multiple occasions that they dont think its" what i would be looking for", etc simply because when they ask if i regularly road race / drift with the car, i responded no, not really planning on it, but I still dont see installing the system being a waste of time, as they seemed to be convinced....

    I don't know like a fire you add air it burns hotter, kill your turbo way faster then fuel injection? Like an engine fuel cools the combustion, and leaning leads to engine disaster.

    there is another kind of anti lag is delaying timing to make the fuel and air burn in the exhaust at low rpm .. and that will create pressure to spool the turbo... but it damage the turbo .. i highly recommend any non ball bearing turbo ... cuz with anti lag all turbos are same at spooling .. difference is the power

  • @RealKaiserBelial

    Hadi kuwaiti how does non ball bearing turbo preferable with als?ball bearing reduces friction thus generates lower heat also will spool faster an als also may not completely eliminates turbolag
