Wish I had found your channel sooner when trying to understand biochemistry! I’ve spent the last 3 days reading the same chapters, feeling like I’m hitting my head against the wall. You took my whole chapter and broke it down so clearly I’m less than 12min! You’re amazing!

First time ever I learnt about the ETC with a degree of seriousness and focus! Your Kreb cycle video coupled with this (hugely beneficial) clear ETC video have really shown me quite the depths with a hint of ease! I have huge gaps in my knowledge, and without hesitation I can say the following - it's safe to say I will be watching your videos! Time well invested! TYSM YOU'RE AMAZING!

Brilliant! Thank you for educating me on my search for all things "where the heck did my youthful energy go". I a pre-diabetic, unfortunately. I wish i knew the biology of humans when I was a child - perhaps I would not have eaten so many boxes of Girl Scout cookies! I try my best to do a keto diet, and have even water fasted for three days on several occasions. But keto diet lowers my energy into hell. It is unsustainable for more than a few weeks at a time and I return to some form of carbs. No carbs for weeks and my blood sugar remains at 115 or more. I am desperate to understand what is wrong in my body, liver, cells, and fatty acids to cause unrelenting high blood sugar. When I have a boatload of carbs at the end of a month of keto diet, my blood sugar will drop to 80s for a few days and then return to nightmare. I very much look forward to learning more on your channel, and all others reading my story, beware...high fructose corn syrup is the devil, and constant carbs will lead to very poor health.

Hi Dr Mike, any chance you could PLEASE do an episode on the 3243a>g point mutation? I've self-educated to extremes most cant fathom, and I'm quite literally able to feel the difference between these various metabolic processes and their effects which has greatly enabled my comprehension of all this, but I really need to cement my understanding so I can make the best decisions for myself and my family. You/your videos are extremely helpful with that process. Most doctors I've encountered have memorized information but lack the capacity to understand, explore, and explain as well as you do. Thanks~
