her voice is amazing, soothes my soul.

I like this band. Reminds me of the 80s. Looking back I have to say the 80's was a great time for music. Bands like Electric Youth remind us of how great music can inspire us all. Positive energy!

I wish most synthwave artists performed like this. Drums, keyboards etc. Instead of a DJ standing behind a table and a singer. Its just so nice to see keys getting pressed. Her voice is so angelic. This set is amazing.

Well, at least for live performances. Even if the percussion is digital drum heads, at least you're actually hitting them, so that there's more of a live-music aspect of performance and beats that don't sound perfectly timed by a drum machine, but rather played by a human hitting the drumheads. For studio, they can go digital all they want, but for live performance, this offers much more to the band's legitimacy to perform live, and their dedication to give the audience a good show. :-)

Randy The general public in the United States seem estranged to real quality and talent so it is not appreciated. Electric Youth sounds live as good if not better than the studio recording. It is mostly afterwards that this level of quality and talent is recognized.

I've noticed :/ I'm just annoyed at hearing Kanye this Taylor Swift that like they don't have to do virtually anything to get instant attention but then we have amazing bands like Electric Youth who poor their heart and soul in their music just as much as those celebrities if not more, than the status quo, and are not as appreciated, or recognized. Bittersweet in my opinion.
