Nice to see someone taking security and safety seriously, especially having spent so much on a scooter :) In my opinion if you’re going over 40-50km/h you should be wearing a lightweight motorcycle helmet instead, they do exist, they’re just not cheap. They do however provide a different kind of safety.

Another great addition to your scooter is a side mounted, fully stabilized Canon de 105 mm modèle F1 Rifled cannon from the 1972 variant of the AMX-30 medium tank. APFSDS munitions allow for the quick removal of heavily armoured targets. HEAT rounds are ideal for urban use, especially against taxis, police cars and family vans.

It's the law in Florida to have eye protection, but it's also common sense. I can't think of any reason to look at a phone while scooting, but I'm an old man. And as far as security goes, I always keep my scooter with me wherever I go. Good video though, but I love the simplicity of just riding. I always bring my backpack, so I need something I can put it in there. A multi tool, bottle of water, etc. Nobody ever mentions a rear view mirror, which I find essential. Thanks for the vid!

Just a quick suggestion and it’s probably overkill. Got a motorcycle brake alarm that should help prevent unwanted theft. It’ll surely make a lot of noise before someone actually is able to steal your Mantis. Just a suggestion though. But i want that Mantis so bad. Where did you purchase yours. Thanks!

I've got a kaabo mantis 10 scooter how much slime do i need for 10 inch tube tires ?

First off, I am NOT negating or arguing ANY point in this video. I am merely sharing my experiences so far with my particular scooter. The Emove Cruiser has an optional storage box that mounts over the rear wheel, which I bought, and it holds the multi-tool and charger with room for a hammock or windbreaker or rain jacket or whatever third item I feel I need for that day. Few scooters have this option so I guess I'm just bragging, mostly wanted to point it out. As for headlights, there are many that come with their own rubbery type of mounting band that can attach to nearly any spare part of the handlebars. My scooter had basically ZERO real estate left in the cockpit, directly out of the box, so I mounted one of these with no extender necessary; maybe you can as well. As for the phone, I find that the audible verbal prompts from the mapping app work just as well on complicated winding bike trails as much as they do in a car on the road so I just leave my phone in my pocket where that expensive thing belongs. Last, but not least, I found a cable lock with a built in alarm; key fob and all, just like a car's alarm. Able to be cut for sure, with the proper tool, but the alarm scares people and draws the eyes of any other people nearby and thieves do not like eyes on them so they tend to bail. I've actually seen it happen on my scooter twice now and they both literally ran away. Anyway, those are my thoughts I felt the need to share but, if you have little knowledge of such things, PLEASE follow ALL advice in this video.

G'day, I have a query regarding the Slime Tube Repair. I have used this product multiple times to do repairs while I'm out and at home. Hi love the vidzs. Question about the mantis, how is the stem holding up? Does is shake where it’s connected. I’m planning to buy one soon and was wondering how strong the lock mechanism was for the stem.

I haven't had any issues with stem wobble so far but I do know other people have issues with the stem on their mantis. I think the more recent versions of the mantis have had less issues with the stem

If you haven’t figured it out already, no chain is impossible for anyone to cut, if you leave your scooter out often I recommend getting multiple different locks, such as a U lock, chain lock and a disk lock

You did not mention (or use) a tire pressure gauge. Using it might prevent you from getting a flat in the first place.

Seems that the MTB helmets are the bulkier with the big visor and chin protection.

I got everything on the list, I will say tho, By the time i put my charger, I carry charger most the time, Too give it another boost if i can where i stop, Most cafe's will let you have a charge if you ask nice enough, I usually offer a few quid, But they often say don't worry, So i give it too a charity jar, But yeah by the time i put my D lock an chain, With a bottle of juice in my bag as well as the odd little tools, My bag weighs more than my scooter, lol, I got take my scooter up an down 3 flights of stairs, So a heavy back pack don't help at all, But i do take a few important supplies like pump, Puncture repair kit, Tools, An charger, I am saving up for a Kaboo Wolf Warrior, I heard Dualtron got a new line up for 2020, Just come out, Might even buy that new Duatron with the suspension thing on the stem, I think it called the ultimate or something, Only just heard about it, I will be checking them out tho, It's crap here in the UK, Law's on top of Law's, People moaning in the UK saying they too fast, Pisses me off, Its the person riding the scooter not the scooter riding the person, I got body Armour, One thing you never mentioned, I think is important, I had a crash at 30 mph an it sucked, But if i never had body armour on an a full face MTB helmet, I would of been in hospital with a broken shoulder an cracked skull, Learnt my lesson i can tell you that, Coz it sucked, But now i had a few little falls, I know how much i can push my scooter an not fall off, Made me a better rider ironically, Fastest i have had was 46 mph, with help from a little hill, An it the best fun i had since i was a teenager, Lets just say since i have had my scooter i ain't got on a bus, An after 6 months of carrying it up an down my steps, An all the off road i done my arms are getting bigger, My gut's getting flatter, So it a miss conception these scooters are lazy, Do an hour off road at high speed, Then tel me they for lazy people, PEV transport is the future, I am gutted the UK is not embracing Electric scooters like every other country, Meant too be some 250 watt limit being introduced, Fuck using a 250 watt scooter, lol, Insult too an adults integrity, The police already pulled me on my scooter, But they was OK, I had all the gear on, Go pro on my helmet, 2, 5000 lumin's lights, An 2 Hero beams, A bunch of red flashing light's, Even the police pointed out it is nice too see, Most people only got one, They told me too stay off the roads, They was actually Kool as fuck, But yeah PEV transport is the future of travel, An infrastructure needs too be made for this type of transport, We got nothing in the UK, Hardly any bike lanes, Like i said the UK is 20 years behind most countries at the moment, Taken over by Brexshit, Falling behind, UK needs too wake up......

Great point about the body armor. I'm a first-time buyer living in NYC. E-scooters and E-mopeds are illegal in NYC and several police officers I asked got upset at me for asking the rules. Anyway I'm saving up for a black Mantis Pro, e-moped, and folding e-bike. I want to add two white Angel/Eagle Eyes to the front, and a red one on the back as a tail/brake light. Are you installing them with the plastic ring that goes around the bar? You have to include the plastic gasket if installing them on smaller handlebars

It can never hurt to use more protection. I feel very safe in a MTB helemt tho. They are definitely made to take impacts at higher speed

Superb Media Content Creator yes, it will work. But after 2 years you need to fill up again a bit. I don’t know if 4 oz will work, you need to see how much you put in the tyre

I recommend knee pads. If you go down your knees will likely be involved in making contact with the pavement. I would never recommend a cell phone holder. If you crash, your phone may cost as much as your scooter. Plus, cell phones are a distraction. I recommend a small digital clock for those who commute. I don't recommend riding in the dark, ever! Daytime driving is dangerous enough.

Hi, I'm reaching out to as many people as i can. I have a mantis 10 DUO 18.2AH 60V scooter SN KBTL121120082331. I'm trying to find a wiring diagram for these two black ESC's (controller boxes) but no one can help me so far. Is there anyone here that could maybe supply me with a photo of how the connects are all set up? or a diagram or anything. I have tried the manufacturers and many stores. No one can help me so far.. Mountain biking helmets are not designed for impacts on faster scooters. You need the Motorcycle full face helmets if yours goes over 20Mph.

I would like to know why you can't make your tires on your stock eagle ones a little bit better can't you put Teflon in them so they don't pop so easy I've got $350 in new tubes for the rear tire only for $1,400 you need a big build a better tire for your scooters that don't pop so easy

You shouldn't need them below 25mph honestly. The wind pressure isn't very high until you get into the 30-40mph range. If you ride in a lot of dusty or wooded areas with a lot of insects they might still be welcome though.
