Tsitsipas is truly the definition of codependency. A baby when he can’t crack his opponent, so he tries to hit a ball right at them and taking long potty breaks to text his dad. 😂 that’s what I imagine happens at least
If there was a competition of maturity on this match Alcaraz already won 6-0 in straight sets.
No matter how much you expect a drop shot for Alcarez, he will surprise you!

Wow! This guy has been on the scene a short while. But his impact is tremendous.
Everytime Tsitsipas does somethign stupid like hit the ball straight at someone he just alienates more people adn shows that he doesn't have the skill to complete with the top players. Hats off to Carlos. Class and skill all the way through. Thoroughly likeable and if he keeps to this trajectory will be one of if not the greatest of all time. Fantastic ambassador for the sport and an inspiration.

To go on the opponent was the only chance in this situation. Longline was covered and crosscourt was not possible anymore. Normally you don't shot to the body, because you give him a chance to get the ball.

Well said. When ppl SHOW YOU WHO THEY ARE, BELIEVE THEM! Tsitsipas did the same thing to Nick Kyrgios multiple timez last yr Wimbledon. Tsitsipas is such a sore loser and bitch ass!! Glad Carlos took him to the wooshed in the 3rd set.

It was and am glad Carlos is a humble but fearless warrior. But match was ruined by Tsitsipas low class attack on Carlos @ 2:46. Thats why Carlos had to open that whoop ass in the 3rd set.

WTF watched the entire video with extreme focus, thinking all the time that this reminds of something (and wondering about Tsitsipas t-shirt looking better than the one he had in previous games LOL) and specifically looked at the title for the year, but somehow my mind registeredd 2022 as being this year... then i saw your comment and facepalmed... why the heck do they post these vids like this? very annoying

@@hello-mv6yg i am all for extended highlights but this isnt that. this is trying to grab views from the unsuspecting viewers. extended highlights come the same or few days after a game, not 365 days later this is just betting on 95% of viewers not noticing the year or being like me andd not registering the year 2022 (in this case) is the previous year. and i am sure that the excuse is 'oh we do it for those who want to rewatch l;ast year's in preparation of the upcoming match' you know, that 2% of the total viewers
He is unbelievable good and well rounded. He can adapt which makes him so dangerous. Unstoppable player.
Last year was incredible, but this year is should be epic😊...Both playing better with each match.

Tsitsipas is absolutely terrible at dealing with drop shots. Compared with other players on his caliber, his anticipation is poor, and when he does track one down he does nothing with it.
Got clickbaited into thinking this was actually today's match... Until I heard the commentary at the end about Carlos' ranking 😂
Nobody can stop this guy.. He's going to win all the Grand Slams for the next 5 years....

he has been stopped many times. There are other great players out there, too. He might be nr 1 favourite at RG but so he was already last year and he lost to Zverev.

That’s a huge reach. It was a tennis play, and he didn’t hit it hard enough to realistically hit Alcaraz. The first time was the really bad one

@@SJ-di5zu i dont think it is a reach, pros do know what they do and are coordinated. no reason to hit the ball like that after a double bounce. maybe it would be a reach in amateurs who do not know how to control their arms and force but not on this level. purposefully tried it

Yeh he did. Carlos put so much spin on the ball it died as hit the dirt. So Tsitsipas attempted to hit Carlos again but it weakly tippped the net.

@@SJ-di5zu you need to watch that play again. He did try to hit Alcaraz as soon as he turned his head. The ball was just too good of a dropshot and so was dead- its why it went into the net instead. Bit if that ball was bouncing? Trust me. Tsitsipas is the *NASTIEST PLAYER* on tour!!!!!

He was was warned about time violations. And so he was deducted two points for making the court wait after coming back to court 6 minutes longer than he was supposed to.

@@KrlKngMrtssn Rune is almost silent. I can deal with soft grunts but Alcaraz' loudness into the opponents' shot is a total lack of class. People complain about Sonego a lot. Alcaraz is much worse.Of course he's the best player of today, and apparently then you can afford to be a classless act.

I get it, the culture you are part of condemns expression, fierce competition, and vocally expressed emotions. However, precisely the culture Alcaraz is part of sees those elements in a rather favorable light. Oh dear, are you having a culture shock? (Just in case: your culture is not the norm, get it?) What in your part of the world is considered "unclassy", in another part it's maybe seen as strength.
I like both equally. Hopefully they stay classy and surprisingly entertaining.
That drop shot....it just bounces a foot off the ground....no chase at that. How can you anticipate it when the guy also hits 100 mph winners?

Суть спорта - это соревнование, а соревнование - это страсть, которая проявляется по-разному. I've been saying that Alcaraz has the best dropshots in the game since early last year and that whoever masters it will have the advantage. These young gen players, Alcaraz, Rune, and Sinner are some of the best in dropshots these days. 'nuf said.

Rune has very good backhand dropshot, I don’t remember seeing him play a forehand dropshot apart from a training video with Mouratoglou. He has good touch on the net, so I think he could come close to the dropshot quality of Alcaraz but he doesn’t play them so often. As for Sinner, he started to use the forehand drop shot lately which is good, because he can’t just rely on power shots. But he is not so good at them yet. Sometimes his drop shot attempts end up totally wrong. Of course you don’t see that in the highlights :)

That last point from Tsitsipas in the end of 1st set was bad sportsmanship.
How could Carlos recover after lost 2nd set? He had lost to Norrie and Sinner in similar situations.
