Awesome Job Bud!! I would love to add this to my "Projects to build" list!!! I am currently looking for a similar lift type system or was going to design my own with wiper motors to run a scissors jacks type of system. Or maybe even buy a 12v hydraulic type setup, so I can run front and back equipment that I build for my Quadrunner. What ever I do, I will make and post video's after also!! +1 Sub !! Thanks 4 sharing bud.

No problem with plowing the snow but just want to be able to get a good dump when needed.. don't want to plow and eventually have a mountain of snow that I can't move. Nice video

I used an old motor lift for my steel and purchased my actuators from northern tools. When I started the biuld one of my concerns was attaching the lift to the fram which is what i ended up doing. I wanted it to be removable so I ended up cutting small notchs in the cross member I made which supports the uprights in order to clear the main pully that hooks to the mow deck. I then got the crossmember essentially bolted with four 3/8 inch bolts derectly to the mower frame. I have been really happy with my bucket loader and consider it a complete success. I can try and post another more detailed video for you but I honestly just went from a plan I invisioned and didnt have any initial plan or lay out

The actuators look a little underpowered for this application, I at 500lbs static and 110lbs dynamic load. With the leverage of the pivot locations, they will see substantial load. Nice build though! www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200520508_200520508

I did not weld to frame it was a full bolt on to frame yet all the loader armed were fixed and welded . I should have welded additional frames supports in because after years of heavy use and abuse i eventually bent the frame. It was a simple repair that i never made having sold Lauder for what i invested. I didnt need it any longer and it served me very well and guy who bought it was happy to have it. He actually watched my KZread videos and when i listed it drove several hours to purchase at asking price. I wish i never sold it

Thanks I built that thing to scrape and refresh my old driveway and dog lot. It worked out great and that lil tractor took serious abuse for years. It would move between 250 to 300 lbs but could have handled more if I had counter weight on the rear. I never did that though as I was already pushing the tractor itself to it's limit. I eventually did bend the frame digging up tree stumps but it was repairable. I sold the tractor last year when I needed some cash eventually I will buy myself a loader with back ho

How do you keep the lift actuators from binding? Dont they lift and slightly different speeds even though they are the same model? What does your chair lift controller do other than provide wireless control? Do you have any problems with dead batteries when lifting heavy loads?

  • @offgridandhappy2743

OCPermaculture it has had zero issues at all the actuators seem to move at the same speed and i know their limitations they never bind up or even seem stressed. the battery holds up and has never seemed to lose any charge from use of the loader. i domt like the chair lift control and plan on changing it. i used it because it had relays which stop the actuators from ober extending but i dont like how its intergraded on the lift and tilt
