Perjuring oneself has more than whiff of criminality Edwina.

Why worry? Sunak made his money insider trading, then wallowed in the economic collapse his crew caused and is perpetuating.
That’s because insider betting IS illegal.

Imagine if you were up in court. Would you have a problem if the jury placed a bet that you were going to be found guilty? According to your comment, it would be fine.
I've just read her Wiki entry. It's much worse than I thought.

Betting on something with a 100% chance of success, because of the punter's prior inside knowledge, amounts to theft, which of course is a crime and it even applies to Tories, believe it or not.

If you based that as the test to determine whether we should listen to an MP, I think you might get a very empty response to all your questions.....
smug bullying Tories . Vile. The lot of ypu
Even vegetable curry can see how poor some of the modern Tories are.
These are not 'errors', these are crimes.
On one of the American ' Law and Order ' episodes, the Judge stated... " There is a whiff of implausibility about this ".... Meaning... I think this is all illegal.... !
It's like the election is being run in sandbox mode where the guy at the computer says "how bad could we make it for the Tories?"
" Ok Grant , Dom , get to Labrokes and find the odds on an election for October and July. Get Davey the Dip to put a monkey for me on the best odds"
There's no whiff about it...and the Police should arrest all those under suspicion. ' I made a serious error of judgement'.....they all say that. If any crime is suspected of anyone in any field the police should fully investigate...FULLY and interview all those connected to get to the truth and if they all come through smelling of roses then fine. I hope they all are in the clear but each and EVERY one has to be fully investigated.
If you think that there's nothing wrong with the behaviour of these Contemptible MPs etc then it perhaps says more about your own lack of integrity and morality than the greedy individuals concerned.
There it is. The rot and stench has been there for a while.
We can take the hot politics out of all of this by having a Royal Commission on betting, gender, toilets, lefty celebrities and national service - so the Govt can then focus on foodbanks, potholes, child poverty and growing our economy, right?
And that's from someone who encouraged the pm to nip out for a quick curry.
More like a stench than a whiff.
Greedy, venal and morally bankrupt to the end.
A whiff? It smells stronger than the corpse flower at Kew.
Who on earth is this Giles character? It's very rare I see someone able to put together so much unadulterated piffle with so much passion.
Not so much as a whiff but a stench
What about allegations of fraud....in relation to PPE contracts....will they end up in 'court'.
Actually it is Bad - Enoch. Not Bade - enoch. It is a Scottish name.
The question is though Mr Coren, would you care if it had been Labour MPs placing the bets? Move along, nothing to see here and it's all Blairs' fault anyway.
There is no 'trivial' insider trading. Curry talks Tory blancmange as always. She thought it 'trivial' to sleep with a married PM in her day. So asking her opinion on morals...
Hmmm, didn’t hear the same tirades against JK Rowling.
Check all there bank accounts
Sorry, did this guy just complain that Labour let women see and participate in betting?
Those deplorable Tory guests all guffawing at the end to 'I don't care'. Tells you everything you need to know about Tories - turning a blind eye to other Tories engaged in criminal activity. But woe betide anyone who over claims benefits or gets caught nicking a sandwich to feed their kids.
Why do we care what Giles thinks about anything
I thought that was clear from day dot. Insider knowledge betting is like Wall Street illegal trading and that's exactly how I saw it when I saw the breaking news

Tennant didn't bring race or her gender into the conversation, she did. Not the best take, Coran. Fancy being on the wrong side of history.... Cope harder, Tories!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Keir Starmer was the Head of the CPS, when he Refused to Prosecute Saville and the Grooming Gang's, what's that called?

Lies. CPS can only prosecute with evidence. At the time of Saville, Starmer took charge at the end of the investigation and the former head of the CPS decided there wasn't enough evidence for a successful prosecution to take place. The police head 4 or 5 witnesses to begin with then 3 pulled out and the two left were not credible, one kept changing her story and the other was considered not in a fit state to stand. When Starmer reviewed the case he agreed with his predecessor. After that he changed the CPS from top to bottom and the then P M David Cameron spoke highly about him in Parliament and the right wing newspaper the Sun did a column praising his work In 2008 when Starmer took over he prosecuted 14 grooming gangs because the police had gathered enough evidence to successfully win the cases. Starmer had no involvement in the Rochdale gangs as the police admitted the evidence gathered was unreliable due to the people concerned full of drugs, alcohol etc and their accounts all differed and wouldn't stand up in court so it didn't even get to the CPS. Try to do research before commenting.
