Mitt Romney looks like every president from a 90s movie
Crazy to think that in an alternate timeline, we'd be in a second Romney term right now and he'd be handling covid

I am a liberal Democrat, and I tend not to agree with issues politically with the Republican Party. But when I hear this video, I come away with respect and honor for Romney. What a man of intelligence and respect for the democratic process. Thank you for your service, Romney. Thank you.
What a Gentleman!! This is how politics and politicians should be, everywhere! No matter what your ideology is, this is the way it should be, the way the people all around the world deserve their representatives to be. Fierce competitive, yes. Strongly guided and motivated by your ideas, yes. But NEVER forgetting that we are, above all, all members of the human family.
As a Democrat I will say, at least this night, much respect to Romney. When a real republican man was polite, articulate and incredibly, had a sense of humor! Rare these days!

starting at 8:00... this could not have possibly been more different than the remarks given by donald and hillary at the al smith dinner in 2016. it's unimaginable how running for president has slipped to this point 4 years later where nominees not only show open contempt for each other, but for democracy itself.

OMG Can politics be like this again? Not the shitshow that went down in 2016? Both great candidates, down to earth, debating policy, respectfully. Not two senile 70-year-olds attacking each other. Even if I lean to the right, I have always thought Obama was a great president and deserved to be elected twice. It’s sad that last year neither party could come up with a respectable candidate, quite embarrassing for the US as a country that out of the 325 million Americans people chose those 2.

Nearly every Mormon you'll meet is salt of the earth. Best of the best. Will give you the shirt off their back, feed you, clothe you, care for you, and lift your burdens, all in the name of God and Jesus Christ. When they pray for you, it's like they are bringing down the powers of heaven. We're all special to God, but God LOVES his Mormons. He can always count on them to do His will.
