Her health condition doesn't allow her to be released back into the wild. Agree completely. She wouldn’t survive in the wild. The VERY least humans can do is ensure that she lives the rest of her life in peace. She looks like she has lots of enrichment and is getting the veterinary care she needs to live happily. I absolutely loved seeing Chanda splashing around in her pool ❤

It's heart breaking to contemplate what this poor soul has been through. Thank goodness she has been rescued and can live out her days doing what she wants when she wants, with veterinary care. You couldn't expect her to go back to the wild at her age and health problems, but this is probably heaven to her. Wild animals should never be used for entertainment. She looks happy, bless her.

If it's safe for her to socialize with other bears through the fence then it's safe to give her supervised limited time visits with other bears.
