I like the little chuckle Mike Morhaime does at the end at the mention of "our show has such a low budget". The money that guy makes in a single day off his net worth would fund this show for a long time (or at least buy a shitload of bad ass trophies to give away).

Lilith Le Fay do you have expansions for it? The game really starts coming into it's own once you add the expansions. Kind of a bummer as far as cash goes, but who knows? You might have money.

I don't know, throughout they kept switching back and forth on the extra investigation point. Kept saying only need 5 or 8 when that's what is said on the card, despite the mythos card.

This was a fun episode. I am binge watching them all.

Wills' expertise as a narrator is unmatched.

One noticeable rules violation: when Felicia assisted Wil on his failed roll, he focused *and* she assisted at the same time after the one failed roll. From the rule book: "Note: After each failed roll, a player may either focus or request assistance; he cannot do both."

Amanda is my favorite character. Her ability is so powerful.

This video helped my wife and I get through Elder Signs for the first time on #tabletop day, thank you! I'm sure we'll figure it out before you get to it, but having one on Arkham Horror would be nice.

Last night, at my local gaming club, we saw that the club had a copy of Elder Sign. I knew we had a copy, but I never tried to play it before since, looking similar to Eldrich Horror, I wanted someone else to explain the rules to me. Remembering this episode, I thought I could remember and explain the rules so me and a group of friends could play. I mentioned this and we started. While I overestimated my memory, we got over the hiccups and the game was awesome! We kicked the crap of Ithagua...or whatever his name was. Anyway, I wanted to thank you for putting this content out because it helps expose me and my friends to new and fun games to play! Also, this might be an odd thing to mention, but, that same night, someone brought out a cool game they had bought: Tragedy Looper. It was also pretty awesome. Did a cool job of making a legit murder mystery in board game form. Just throwing that out there.

I would have killed to be able to say BOOB POWER to Filesha Day, and receive a high five.

30:50, after Amanda dies there should be additional doom token. One for her death and one as the adventure penalty. In addition, she losses all her stuff and trophies and takes a brand new hero.

There are sort-of-atheists in the Forgotten Realms (see Mask of the Betrayer). In that case it just means that they don't believe that the gods are any more special than any other powerful creature. In this game, and many fantasy types of things there can still be people who can be skeptical about certain things. Just because they see some supernatural elements it doesn't mean that they have to believe in all superstitions. Hermione in Harry Potter didn't believe in divination, for example. Anyway, I'm sure it was out of character.

Played this game for the first time tonight and won it. we actually got 13 signs.

Mike misplayed when he only got nine, because he can turn a 3 to a 4. His card says so at the beginning of the game.

Azarathian Mage from what I understood he could only add one to a die roll up to 3 , so he couldn't change 3 into a 4.

+Zilla Fella Actually, that was introduced before Wil's turn, the round before. If the clock rolls around and always strikes Midnight before Wil's turn, then it would have changed and the old event card would have been obsolete, making their win legitimate.

@@tawnyclawx From the game play I got the impression that the clock only ticks once per full turn around the table. They are sure messing those things up with the editing. Then again, you do not watch this to learn the rules or strategy (too many misplays for that, plus confusing editing) but to get a feel for how the game is to play.
