Something that i think i might like is that when a chapter comes out it doesn't erase the gear u have. Like say you just make or farm an overland from even base game, it's not the best but it'll do until you get the current gear. You take the wierd system in wow like artifact power or necklace and when the expansion ends all your time means nothing. Blizzard doesn't respect the time you put in. Correct I'm wrong but that means you have reason to go back and play past expasions if a set bonus works well for you.

I have a question: Is there a way to transfer your purchases on steam to the regular ESO shop? Background and more detailed: I installed and bought the game via Steam as it's where most of my games are and tried ESO in short bursts over the last 2 years, but not gotten to play it as intended, due to being busy IRL and partly into another MMO. (I was interested enough to buy each subsequent chapter though) But about a month ago I really sunk my teeth into ESO, played the entire Summerset DLC (my entry point) and now transferd to blackwood and decided to watch some guides, which led me eventually to this video. literally the 1st tip is to buy via the normal ESO store, not Steam. Is there a way to link my steam purchases to an ESO account?

It is interesting that medium armor seems to be the preferred for stealthy stamina builds, where in most games stealthy characters would go with light or no armor. On another note, I still would love a Monk style character in this game. Where magic buffs unarmed attacks or gives unarmored increases.

@@dottzgaming curious about the game but, a 3hr beginner guide is a tad intimidating for the casual gamer. Not to take anything away from your effort on the vid.

I have no idea what inflation looks like on console, but I had to laugh/cry internally at the 100:1 ratio because currently on PC that ratio is 1700:1 and is definitely cheaper to buy the gold houses in gold rather than paying someone to buy it as crowns. You're lucky if someone sells at 1500:1 or 1200:1 and even three years ago, that was 400:1

could you get away with just wearing all medium armour? for example, i will only do PVE and the story quests, and almost never do dungeon quests, except maybe delvs and public dungeons but that's it. im a redguard templar, and i wanted to know if i could go through the whole game, without doing dungeon quests (except delvs and public dungeons, NO undaunted things) with just wearing medium armor?

I really have to point out a few more things for Race selection: Khajiit are best for Nightblade, hands down. There's not a whole lot that race can't do well, but their bonuses stack particularly well with Nightblades. (Magicka, Stamina, or Hybrid.) Dunmer is the best choice if you're planning on becoming a Vampire, but let's just assume if you're the kinda player that really wants to be a Vampire (Bad enough to track down how) you're going to be equally attracted to the Dark Elf race. Even for mortals, the Fire Resistance is pretty huge, because Fire is the most common, and damaging Elemental damage type, especially in PvP. Orc is going to be the fastest Stamina race, in the endgame. However, they get Swift Warrior last, and it only applies to Sprinting, when you can't do anything else. Wood Elf is going to be faster earlier on, and all the time. This is important, because the game is huge, and parts of it feel like a Marathon Simulator. Hunter's Eye unlocks at level 5, and goes up to 5% at level 30. 5% more speed sprinting, running, and walking crouched in Stealth. Also, being the Smallest (Stamina) race, they can hide behind more rocks than anyone else. So, for beginners, your first playthrough, I'm going to recommend Woodelf. (In Endgame, they're also the only ones with Penetration, and the last few passives, everyone has been under-penetrating. It's not quite as rare, and powerful as Khajiit's Critical Damage, but it's a close second.)

Open up Port Hunding/Stros M'kai as soon as possible. You can just start Daggerfall Covenent, or just Fast Travel to Daggerfall, and take a boat, but once you have that Wayshrine. The crafting tables, Bank, and vendors are all right there in a convenient square. So, you can dump out your pack, Deconstruct, and Craft, Research the traits you want, sell the junk, Bank the rest, and then be on your way. It's honestly the most convenient base of operations in the game until you can buy your home, and furnish it with everything you need. It's also got 3 Skyshards (One skill point) you can get in 5 minutes without Questing, but the island's quests are quick and easy to knock out, too.

yeah he also forgot to tell you that you need to upgrade your champion points wen u get to lv 60 otherwise u wont be able to equip the legendary items cuse you need at least 160 champion points and then once u get those 160 the fun begins cuse u need to get up to 1200 to do good damage and solo dungeons and that will take you probably a moth or less depends how active u are lol actually that was the reason i stop playing ESO cuse it was really a pain in the ass to lv up my chapion points to 1200 the good thing is once you get to 1200 or 1300 wen u create a new charater you already have 1200 skill pointsts abaiable to use in any character but trust me wen i say that it will take you forever to get at 1200 or even 1100 lol i was like 1130 wen i left the game but if u have patience u will love the game cuse it is a really good game just pass that chalenge and u good to go

When ESO comes out with a ridiculously over priced house that I want, I buy a 1 year sub to ESO Plus. That way I get enough crowns to buy the house and I don't feel like I'm flushing the money down the toilet.
