I love bloodflame, probably my favorite spell. Bloodflame with the flails native AOW is a great early way to just eat giant enemies. Works great on horseback too.

Yes, I love both BHF and double slash. What I like most with double slash is you can put it on a sword like the flamberge too with equal or similar results as a katana if you're going for a knight style build and not 'keen' on using katanas. Pun intended.

Thanks! I’m not a huge fan of them tbh. I find the short reach beatable by the bandits at high levels (same AR at 80 in all stats to the exact point), and beaten by the scavs at 125-150 without having to split stats. Gargoyles are close too. I can add it to a list for sure though. I may eventually do an “all twinblades & curved swords” video.

I was cruising thru half the game with blood flame but then respeced my class for faith and the Blasphemous blade lol both are fun ,

I liked spinning strikes but now I use wild strikes mostly. Since it can be used on great hammers and great axes which have great damage. Edit: I forgot to mention stormcaller. It has aoe cc too.

hey. i was wondering why you went for a keen affinity and dex on the nagakiba for the double slash build. Wouldnt str and a heavy affinity do more damage because you are two handing it?

Depends on your dexterity level. Keen gives you an “A” vs a “B”. But since 80-99 are minimal increases, if you can get to 70-80 dexterity then that’s better. If you’re under 60 dexterity (or points in general for a damage stat) then yes 60 STR would be better. 🤘

Would it be possible to have an offhand weapon with seppuku and a mainhand nagakiba buffed with bloodflame blade and go jump attack and also have double slash..? Or is that spreading it too thin..?

With katanas you don’t get the 4 hits that twinblades or curved swords have, so not really worth it imo.

If i know one thing right about elden ring and builds, it is that the build number 5 in this list ( replace millicent prosthesis with ritual sword talisman ) is LITERALLY the strongest bleed build in this game! Spinning weapon doesn't have the range and double slash doesn't have the damage spinning strikes has.Believe me it's not even close. If you manage to get an opportunity it's over.

@@grimer1805 Ngl I haven't tried dual wielding scythe with jump attacks but it's a different build from builds in this video i think. Because scythes are not that fast, for bleed you should hit enemies fast(like curved swords jump attacks). I prefer spinning strikes but of course always the build that is more fun is better.

Is there a downside of doing a quality nagakiba with str/Dex. That’s what I’m doing and wanted to make sure it will be enough damage, plus I use the great bow as well.

At lower levels quality isn’t as good. But at high levels quality can be best for many weapons.

@@patrickray7521 yep you can respec later at rennala. Early on the “A” in keen is great. Or go for heavy you’ll get a “B” but 1.5x your stats when you two hand.

Nope. Bleed on Bloodflame is a flat 40. So arcane won’t add more bleed.

You don't just get a flat 40 bleed on your weapon... that k ights calvary bursted out blood BEFORE you stabbed him... it also builds, cuz it's a flame. It's "burns"

Yes it has a gradual build up, but it cannot be increased with any stat. Hence a “flat” amount.

Bloodflame blade is a flat 40 bleed, but you can do arcane with the dragon communion seal. You only need 45 arcane & 30 Faith for around 300 scaling at +10.

You can use bloodflame blade with any regular weapon in standard, heavy, keen & quality.
