Using Placidusax's tail to safely push you around while you do AoE attacks is _such_ an interesting tactic! Nicely done defeating the lord of the dragons with flame!

I agree, in my opinion it goes: Sekiro Dark Souls 3 Bloodborne Elden Ring Dark Souls 1 Dark Souls 2 Demon Souls Elden Ring just had too many stupid fights that took away from the game: Godskin Duo Death Rite Bird Triple Cristallian Crucible Knight Ordovis + Crucible Knight Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy Godskin Noble’s Roll Sir Ofnir (if you fought all bosses) Malenia’s Waterfowl Dance Mohg’s undodgeable attack (mausoleum) Morgott’s constant dodging Elden Beast’s Homing Star attack The hit box of putrid tree spirits’s lunges God-devouring serpent’s undodgeable move (without ROTM) Fire Giant’s second phase (constant fire + roll hit box) Almost all 2v1 boss fights were managed badly because of stupid AI aggro making them hold hands 99% of the time they were so close I mean I could go on EDIT: this is specifically for a melee only playstyle, I can't comment on ranged attacks Almost all 2v1 boss fights were managed badly because of stupid AI aggro making them hold hands 99% of the time they were so close

This fight was the ultimate anthology of all best dragon encounters in SekiroSouls games. It is a spectacle, a challenging and well crafted encounter at the same time.

@@Saucisse_Praxis So I written badly, but what I wanted convey that I think this particular dragon fight aka the fight agains the Dragonlord is a well made one compered to the other dragon fights in the game. Your point, if I understood correctly, was that this dragon fight capsulate the whole series dragon fights into one well made encounter, if I misunderstood something and you don't think other dragon fights, especially in this game, well made or at least you will distinguish between the bad ones and the good ones I think I can understood your statment better.

Dragonlord has become the easiest boss for me since I learned that wall positioning technique from you when he's going to spray his laser beam across the arena.

I believe that Destined Death (The Rune) was the possession of the Gloam Eyed Queen, and her disciples are the Blackflame Monks/Godskin Beings. Maliketh defeated the GEQ and seized the Rune of Destined Death, locking it away. Later, the Black Knives chipped off a fragment of the rune, and imbued their daggers with it. So the knives are closer to Destined Death, being rune-dust fragments of it, while the Black Flame spells are a derivative of the rune's power, made usable by humans and near-humans.
