You have the wrong tear equiped. The greenspill tear only increases max stamina. The other green tear increases recovery speed.

Just beat consort of miquella with this build melted him/her/they; appreciate it great guide even gave tips on fighting opening move.

I get what you mean about the him/her/they comment but according to lore, Miquella was cursed with the body of a perpetually young child. I had to look this up myself because I thought the same thing. The young child thing answers, at least, a few questions.

I run all 3

Double occult scavenger's curved sword with seppuku including white mask, raptor's black feathers, claw talisman, alexander's shard, lord of blood's exultation, and the rotten winged sword insignia on a high arcane build still melts bosses with the four hit jump attack combo. Been running it since base game and with scadutree blessing bonuses I haven't had much trouble in the DLC. Edit: as pointed out below, shard of Alexander doesn’t work w/ seppuku. Swap it for Millicent’s prosthesis instead.

Moore's shield or fingerprint great sheild is the move with this thing. Also blood tax the multiple hits heal you per hit and it stacks with bleed and occult shield poke isn't omg good but screw rolling and you can guard counter for massive stance dmg. Also the no skill ash of war on the shield makes it even better for blood tax no need to even heal in most fights j.s.

I do not like that Blood Tax does a spin with Bloodfiend's Fork, dropping the shield in the process.

If you're trying to farm the weapon, Prospect Town has a good drop rate, found two of them in one run without having to rest at grace.

Yeah. These are good. The greatspear is cool too. Has good buildup. Also a single swift spear blood infused on 60dex/40arcace is pretty good also. Ther first 2 light attack hit 5 times

Used this build it works pretty good, beat final boss with it

I dropped two forks from the arm wielding guys in the area before you jump down to reach the garden of deep purple. Can't remember if it's fissure depths or fissure cross, but it's the one with a short path leading to a bunch of blood fiends right behind the site of grace. Took around 15 minutes with arcane build + scarab + fowl foot.

I've been using this weapon with a greatshield poke build. Blood tax AoW for higher damage spikes (and healing) when It's safe to be less defensive. It's been amazing.

These weapons struggle a bit if the mob is uphill from you -- even with target lock. The Black Birds near the Fire Giant are a good example. It's partially a weapon range issue, and partial the animation. Totally doable, but I think other weapons will feel better in my testing. I'm not a huge fan of Jump Attacking, so Great Katana might be my next attempt.

im really confused rn. last night i was playing and my bloodfiend arm was doing 192 bleed buildup per hit, but now that i just logged back in its now only doing 178. did bloodfiend arm get nerfed again???

The animation poke reminds me of the DS2 Halberd PvP build that was dirty AF back in the day. Nice build!

I like to add chilling mist or ice spear on one of my forks so I don’t take so much health lol

Do you think I could use this spear with a tank build? I have a tank build that basically allowed me to tank all of Radahn by myself without dodging once, but the damage is kinda low and I want to find a better thrusting type of spear that does more damage and applies bleed. Together with my trusty fingerprint shield.

This is my exact build right now. Finger shield + blood tax fork. Do poke pokes and throw in a blood tax whenever I can. It's been amazing.

Yes you can use it but there are better poke weapons like the sword lance. Build up for it are 160ish instead of the 106 roughly

@@ButImTrash I actually agree. I'm using the sword lance now and I love it. Two things however. 1. The fork is MUCH easier to get. 2. I find the fork still has a decent niche as an exceptional faith arcane weapon.

Can you get multiple in one playthrough or is it only one like the bloodfiends arm?

You can get multiple arms, though... There's one available as loot in scadu altus and I'd imagine it is also a rare drop like the fork so you can also farm the bloodfiends wielding the arm.

You can take one Cross-Naginata instead. It will have less bloodloss effect (-20%) , but much higher basic phisical damage (+15-20%). And Cross-Naginata is longer.

A - yeah, but you have to put in up to 11 levels of dex depending on starting stats. Part of the appeal of the fork is how stupid easy the requirements are to meet. B - Not if you go faith/arcane. Even outside that, the damage isn't that much worse. C - it's not that much longer. I've used both and with my current build I prefer the fork.

Seppuku is good but I hate having to much set up, especially trading hp. I have been running this with blood tax which is such an underrated AOW. I never hear about it. It cleans up in PVP too. People will just run ifnthey see aepouku in multiplayer until your buff runs out.

I could only beat PCR with a greatshield and gaius' lancesword pr whatever it is with bleed... I bet this would've worked better

You can bully any enemy with massive hp by infusing your weapon with black flame tornado. Not every weapon can be infused with it but casually the bloodfiend fork can.

How is this with poison?

If you are building faith and arcane, this weapon becomes your best companion by adding the black flame tornado ash of war.

If you like jump attacking, which is a significant disadvantage in the DLC anyway. Mobs auto rotate, attack super fast, and have smaller windows to attack into.

You can always use one spear and a great shield with enough endurance to poke "cheese" Radahn to death. Or lions claw on bloodfiend arm, if you are really having trouble with Radahn

Kill Blood Fiends until you get two. There is a cave in the River near where you get the 2-headed Turtle Talisman that is a easy place to farm the spears.

Don't hype it up too much though, when they nerf Impenetrable Thorns people will probably start using it and the gaze of From will fall upon it lol

Is it better than Blood fied, and if so, why? Interesting build.
